AIBU to want to smack my DP

Hello just wondering AIBU for wanting to smack my DP in the face? I'm currently 11 weeks pregnant (4th pregnancy, 1 DD and 2 MC) and this time around my morning sickness has been TERRIBLE yet my DP insists he farts around me??!!!! And every time literally makes me gag to the point where I'm throwing up because I can't stand the smell. I can't even stand the thought of it. How are men (or my man) soooooo inconsiderate? Sorry needed to rant lol

I've never met a man who would do this, OP. It's not a normal thing to do. I'd kick him out for a few weeks and let him have a good think about himself.

y0ungMum · 18/11/2017 18:37

Me neither!! It's baffling why someone would do this anyway never mind when they know you're suffering with MS

Puke on him Grin

I had HG, everything turned my stomach. My husbands farts make your eyes water and are so bad you can taste them.

I was heavily pregnant and slow moving around, especially getting out of cars. He farted and jumped out the car, leaving me with his scent and locked the car so I couldnt get out. I vomited everywhere. All over myself and his fabric seats.

He never farted and locked me in the car again when he saw that his car was filling with vomit, which he then had to clean.

We laugh about it now but at the time I was furious because I had just washed my hair and was sick all over myself.

PeiPeiPing · 18/11/2017 18:45

Sit on his face and fart.

Then wipe some poo on his pillow.

Then sew a (dead) trout into the lining of his fave jacket.

Have to say, the DH's on here with rank smelly farts; are they eating a bad diet? My poo and farts improved a lot when I ate a lot healthier. (Low carbs and low sugar and low crap in my diet in general.)

Not trying to sound pious (sorry,) just a suggestion that maybe you could help him change what he eats??? Smile

PeiPeiPing · 18/11/2017 18:46

I was kidding about the poo on the pillow. Probably a bit too far!

mumonashoestring · 18/11/2017 18:46

Yep, if you can't nail him, make sure you have something like his favourite shoes, watch, tablet or similar handy and go for it.

y0ungMum · 18/11/2017 18:46

Purple haha yes good idea!!
Washing oh my god haha well he well and truly got what he deserved! And yes I would be very annoyed it being in my freshly washed hair haha

Pei haha some good suggestions there!
Yes have tried with his diet and he does have a bad one. He'll eat healthy if he wants what I'm cooking for the family but if he isn't hungry at the time he'd rather just get a takeaway for himself later one rather than me make him something that he can heat up Hmm

Naughty DH! Eating shyte!

I hope the situation improves soon. Don't know what to suggest sorry sweetie. Sad

Maybe stick THESE under your nose. Flowers

y0ungMum · 18/11/2017 18:53

Pei I know but as a grown man what more can I do! X

I’d puke all over him and then tell him he can clean it up as his disgusting pig like manners caused you to puke all over him in the first place. He sounds vile and immature.

Hateloggingin · 18/11/2017 19:02

Have I stumbled into Netmums???!

BuzzKillington · 18/11/2017 19:03

Not 'men' - mine would never do this in a million years.

You've got a wrong 'un. Tell him to move out until he learns some manners.

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 18/11/2017 19:05

Hate U OK hun?

That is really not ok. Shock

That actually is fucking vile. Why on earth would he lock you in the car?

SquirrelTail · 18/11/2017 19:08

I wouldn't kick him out for trumping all over the place. Mine burps a lot. It's gross but I don't think he can help it. Is it being in close proximity to you that's the issue or is he doing it deliberately?

fleurjasmine · 18/11/2017 19:09

Does he have wind generally?

I know some people fart more than others, just as some people seem prone to sneezing and those loud 'AH-hem' coughs, but the insisting on farting around you sounds odd. Do you mean he doesn't leave the room when he farts, or that he deliberately subjects you to them?

JaneEyre70 · 18/11/2017 19:10

He doesn't have a lot of respect for you, OP, does he? Is this the only issue or does he do this in other ways too?

BuzzKillington · 18/11/2017 19:10

washingmachinefastwash I sincerely hope you're posting from prison where you are serving time because you killed him.

RJnomore1 · 18/11/2017 19:11

Washing - is that you kate?

Oysterbabe · 18/11/2017 19:12

washing I'm not sure I'd ever manage to see the funny side of that story. What an arsehole.

Bombardier25966 · 18/11/2017 19:13

Hello just wondering AIBU for wanting to smack my DP in the face?

Imagine the response if a man posted this about a woman?

OP please change your mentality before you bring a child into this world.

MagicMoneyTree · 18/11/2017 19:15

I mean, we all fart, but if you know the smell of your fart is going to make your pregnant partner vomit, you make a conscious effort to avoid doing it in her company. I think vomiting on him is the only way he’ll learn. And no, I’m not joking.
