AIBU to want to smack my DP

Hello just wondering AIBU for wanting to smack my DP in the face? I'm currently 11 weeks pregnant (4th pregnancy, 1 DD and 2 MC) and this time around my morning sickness has been TERRIBLE yet my DP insists he farts around me??!!!! And every time literally makes me gag to the point where I'm throwing up because I can't stand the smell. I can't even stand the thought of it. How are men (or my man) soooooo inconsiderate? Sorry needed to rant lol

There is something in that, actually. I have terrible motion sickness and a few people have only 'learned' how bad it is after being sprayed!

SquirrelTail · 18/11/2017 19:16

washingmachinefastwash,

"I was heavily pregnant and slow moving around, especially getting out of cars. He farted and jumped out the car, leaving me with his scent and locked the car so I couldnt get out. I vomited everywhere. All over myself and his fabric seats."

That's unacceptable, what a horrible thing to do. I don't think I'd be able to see any humour in that to be honest.

Charolais · 18/11/2017 19:25

A blast of bear spray (mace) in the face will cure him. Make sure you do it outside though, it could back-fire.

keeponworking · 18/11/2017 19:25

I would just puke on him.

Every. single. time.

Until he realised he needs to eff off to a different part of the house whenever he needs to fart. Not wishing to be harsh to you OP, but how you can humour it I honestly do not know. It's the ultimate in disrespect and utterly vile.

He CAN control it - I fart a fair but, but do you think I do it at work?!! No, of course I don't, because I'm a grown adult so I control it. You do have to allow a fart to come out so in the same way, you are totally able to prevent it as well.

Dustbunny1900 · 18/11/2017 19:27

My farts only smell real bad when I'm sick..wtf is he eating??

y0ungMum · 18/11/2017 20:28

Bomb how dare you! I have already bought a child into this world and I'm a perfectly good mother thank you very much. So sorry I forgot some people don't grasp onto the sarcasm even though ALOT of others have on this thread. Maybe you need to take some time off Mumsnet and go find yourself a sense of humour silly woman.

washing I hope it went right down the air vents where it remains to this day awaiting him turning up the heating as winter arrives

What a twat

ThePants999 · 18/11/2017 21:31

I wouldn't abbreviate morning sickness to MS, by the way. I know morning sickness is bad, but I assure you MS is worse...

Ilovetolurk · 18/11/2017 21:35

It was two posts down from the original post. Even my goldfish could have remembered that the ms in question was morning sickness

AlexaAmbidextra · 18/11/2017 22:53

Bombadier. Congratulations on the most priggish post of the day. Hmm

PeiPeiPing · 18/11/2017 23:36

@Bombardier25966

OP please change your mentality before you bring a child into this world.

Although the choice of words from the OP could have been better - it is blatantly obvious that she is pissing around. No need to get personal and say she needs to sort out her mentality before bringing a child into the world. Hmm
