To ask for my money?

In March I paid for concert tickets for me,my friend and her cousin.
They were £50 each.
My friend paid a week later but her cousin never paid.
I sent her a message and pic when the tickets arrived and reminded her they were £50.
8 months later no payment and concert is Sunday.
She is writing on her Facebook she is excited and can't wait but I don't think she's going to pay.
I asked my friend and she said she doubts she will pay for the ticket.
I asked my friend can she speak to her cousin and remind her about the £50 and she refused.
What would you do now?
Let her go for free?

Hi everyone -thought I would come back with an update.
Said cousin paid in full, apologised for taking so long to pay and paid in full Shock
Steps were fantastic such a good show, they never age!!
Anyone going to Newcastle arena arrive mega early as they body scan you now and about 4 security checks (which I'm all for)
Couple of things which maybe I'm being sensitive about but -
They drink pints and I only like spirits so we walk in and they spot the "pint only bar"
Then say champion that's us sorted ..I then say "I'm getting vodka so can we go to the other bar and we can all get served together"( 12,000 people and no signal inside I don't want to loose people, and I do get anxious )
Anyway they refused and got served at the pint bar ..so I had to try and find them in the mass crowd.
Then all night they were taking pictures (of the 2 of them ) at one point asked me to hold their pint ..must have been wearing my invisible cloak.
Anyway got my cash, and steps /vengaboys were brill.

Glad you had a good time. Sounds like it's now a good opportunity to distance yourself from your 'friend'.

expatinscotland · 21/11/2017 08:27

Please dump this pair of cows.

LIZS · 21/11/2017 08:33

Glad you got your money in the end, sorry they treated you so shoddily though. Seems they just fancied the night put together. Don't bother with them again.

Aeroflotgirl · 21/11/2017 08:39

Good, what a pair of piss takers. I wou,d now dump them, they are no friends.

Lweji · 21/11/2017 08:45

Shame you didn't sell the ticket.
I'd have loved to tell her that I didn't have it anymore.

Particularly the way they behaved during the concert.

I hope you do dump your friend.

hellsbellsmelons · 21/11/2017 08:56

Glad you got the money.
Not so glad they are selfish bitches.
But you live and learn!

CherryChasingDotMuncher · 21/11/2017 08:59

Aw I’m pleased you had a good time OP but don’t book anything with these pair again! What a stress

MrsPringles · 21/11/2017 09:01

Yeah, lose the mates. They sound awful.

Butterymuffin · 21/11/2017 09:24

Just goes to show, stand your ground when you're told someone 'doesn't have the money' and do NOT just let them have it for free. And don't book anything with those two people again. They will not be reasonable. Glad you enjoyed it!

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 21/11/2017 09:25

I am going to Leeds tonight!!!!! Even more excited now!!

Kellyopio · 21/11/2017 10:09

schoolgaterebel · 21/11/2017 10:17

So glad you enjoyed the concert! Time to forget these two now, they've shown their true colours, onwards and upwards!

Motoko · 21/11/2017 11:44

Yeah, as far as they were concerned, the only reason they went with you, is that you got the tickets. They didn't go with you because they wanted your company.

Time to ditch them.

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 21/11/2017 13:39

Glad you got your money and enjoyed the show - shame the company was lacking in any grace or actual friendship! But at least you did get your money. x

Kellyopio · 21/11/2017 13:40

Il stick to going out with my actual real friends in future...
