I’m glad I’m not Addison Mitchell McConnell Jr tonight. Smile

cozietoesie · 15/11/2017 23:48

Thanks for those links, Pain. They’re a good reminder not to become mired in ordinary political dealings, however much the temptation. This situation is not normal.

badbadhusky · 15/11/2017 23:48

Or failing to show any leadership on this. However, its difficult to do so when one has similar allegations made against one, no? I think the ‘sex with minor’ allegations against Trump are not well known to the wider public, so Donny poking Moore with the righteous stick would prove to be a spectacular own goal, as it would open his hypocrisy up to public scrutiny. Ohh! What’s that? The sound of pigeons coming home to roost. If the allegations weren’t so vile, I’d be deriving more schadenfreud from this.

OnTheDarkSideOfTheSpoon · 16/11/2017 00:00

There’s a lot of “but what about bill
Clinton” (who was a problem and abused his power too) from some on the right but it’s coupled with a complete inability to contemplate trump’s own actions. Although allegations versus proven facts might be the way they square that circle?

This will have consequences, from earlier today

God, this administration is an absolute shitstorm of horrors. We should all be heartily thankful to Amy Siskind for keeping a running tally. There will university courses on this administrationin due course, no mistake.

The Aftermath will be devilishly difficult, right enough.

Given the potential catastrophic harm it could cause on their side, South Korea wants the US to consult with them first before making any strikes against North Korea.

badbadhusky Amy Siskind is an absolute legend. She will go down in the history books (to write a cliché - but it is absolutely deserved here). Her dedication has me in awe.

That is when then-Chief Justice Roy Moore voted to uphold Garmon's suspension

Even Roy Moore agreed his own lawyer's hearse chasing and religious lies to grieving parents was unethical
