I’m having the shittest evening

Just had a 20-hour plane journey for work. Really jet lagged. 15 minutes ago my hotel was evacuated with a fire alarm. I put my coat over my pyjamas and got out. Once outside, I thought I may as well have dinner (was too tired to get out until now). While I’m waiting for my food, a mouse runs under the table next to mine.

Anyone else having a crap night?

Well after coming on here last night to emphasize and ending up adding nothing but my laughter at a phrase used..karma has got me this morning. Got paid, and it seems all of it has been swiped from my bank account and bank is refusing to sort it for me so kinda fucked. Ontop of this I have the shits (though luckily it seems to be only me, not the kids), and the kitten brought in a dismembered mouse an hour ago and seems to be expecting praise for it rather than a bunch of swearing and stropping. Oh joys.

Plentyapollo Shock, am off to Krakow soon, which is the hotel I should avoid??!!

How were you robbed of ££? Is it dangerous at night?

Plentyapollo · 07/11/2017 17:35

Is it dangerous at night???? Not if your polish... Novotel brilliant in every aspect apart from dirty female customer leaving that in jacuzzi.
Police station depressingly third world... computers from the 1970s, no lighting and big hard surly tattooed cops and that's the women!!! Interpreter aggressive in her approach...she was the worst to deal with and had complete lack of empathy and deadly suspicious of English motives in reporting theft. Luckily CCTV shows the man blatantly taking my purse... PIANOLLO restaurant, we arrived 4 hours after landing and foolishly took all the money out as we couldn't check in to hotel rooms straight away. best of it is that the manager knew him as he works their part time. Whilst in police station there was 19 English and Chinese in reporting theft, one had had his baby held up out of pram whilst being required to pay for baby back!!!!!!

Shindlers factory Auschwitz and the Jewish cemetery a must especially for my teenage 12/13 year old boys...neither complained once since having gone and both of them have neither bickered nor asked for anything... long may this last
Airport return journey encountered the most aggressive rudest polish man ranting in the queue saying 'you English ,you stupid people in a stupid country, I have 5 kids on benefits and you are ugly women and have ugly children. You too stupid not educated to learn we kill you in the war and we kill you all now' and this in the queue to get on plane to ENGLAND. EASYJET staff alerted, polish airport security alerted and STILL they let him board and then sail through British customs as a welcome citizen MAD

You're all always welcome in New York. Grin

We have low crime, great hotels and restaurants, and should you need them a very professional and efficient police force.
