You don't need to 'get it' if you don't want, that's what your paper recycling box is for, catalogues and flyers you don't need/want. Problem solved.
I'm not a middle class yummy mummy, I do have three kids though and have bought Boden in the sales and second hand for years for them. I rate it as far better quality than a lot of the other clothes we've also bought (Next, M & S etc)
There are 8 children in our extended family, I had the eldest boy who's now 13, my sister had the eldest girl, who's nearly 14. Clothes get passed from boy to boy (there are 4 of them) and girl to girl (again, 4 of them) and the stuff that's lasted best is always the Boden clothes. The fact that those clothes can last almost 10 years, and still look good and be worn by the younger children speaks volumes to me.
I also wasn't a fan of tractor motifs and 'mummy's little monkey' that every Next top for boys was plastered with when my eldest was younger, so it was Boden, or Frugi, or Molo clothes for him. I like bright colours, and stripes and star prints, and don't like slogans and grown up clothes shrunk down and put on children. I also have a 7 year old daughter and whilst I quite liked some of the younger girl's clothes in Next, they went through a dubious stage when it came to the older girl's range where it all seemed to be crop tops and bikinis, or glittery hotpants, none of which I'm letting a 7 year old wear!
