This is part of a longer poem that we had at our wedding. To me it reminds me to be careful of others as I might make a careless comment or do something which hurts someone else when actually all of us put ourselves out there into the world, risking being hurt in lots of little (and big) ways and we should recognise that all our dreams overlap. Similar to 'no man is an island' in sentiment.

I really hate the "you only regret the things you didn't do" one, it's just untrue and nonsense, I regret lots of things I have done.
