This is part of a longer poem that we had at our wedding. To me it reminds me to be careful of others as I might make a careless comment or do something which hurts someone else when actually all of us put ourselves out there into the world, risking being hurt in lots of little (and big) ways and we should recognise that all our dreams overlap. Similar to 'no man is an island' in sentiment.

That is by Yeats, as you know. A truly wonderful poem only a few lines long. Prescient. I wonder who said it.
