To think M&S is trying to ruin Halloween by lying to me?!

I’m going to a Halloween party with good friends of mine, and whenever we’re together for a special occasion we always get a Colin the Caterpillar cake because it’s delicious.

We saw adverts for a Count Colin the Caterpillar cake - their special Halloween version - and we’ve all checked in lots of M&S stores, but haven’t seen one anywhere! We’ve been to stores in London, Oxford, and Birmingham (we all live in different cities), and though they have lots of other fun Halloween treats, we can’t find Count Colin in a single shop. We checked online and you can’t order him there either!

So... am I being unreasonable to think that Count Colin was a clever ruse by M&S all along, or has anyone else managed to find one?!

I'm developing a need for one... Guess where I'm going this afternoon! I'm thinking baby Colin's sound easier than the homemade cupcakes I had planned too!

I asked in my local store and they didn't seem to know anything about them. So I messaged M&S (casually mentioning that MN wasn't happy about the scarcity of Halloween Colin).
M&S said "very sorry you're having trouble finding scary Colin. He contains no preservatives so has a very limited shelf life. He is available in store this week. I hope you find him soon"

I spotted a v suspicious butterfly cake in M&S yesterday. Now, I don't mean to start any crazy conspiracy theories BUT...

I went to M&S this evening solely because of this thread! Healthy stock of Count Colin’s in my local store, baby versions too!

I’m going to Marks tomorrow to look for Count Colin , just cos of this thread

The M&S food hall next to my office had Count Colons and the baby ones in today! I was extremely tempted.

Just got a count Colin, and the little ones annndddd pumpkin Percys, plus they have in some salted caramel AND chocolate orange tea cakes. Life is good.

Only had the big Count Colins when I looked today.

Didn't want one of those but would have a pack of baby Colins if I can find some. Will try again tomorrow in a bigger shop as they didn't have the dine in main I wanted either.
