To think M&S is trying to ruin Halloween by lying to me?!

(Light hearted of course!)

I’m going to a Halloween party with good friends of mine, and whenever we’re together for a special occasion we always get a Colin the Caterpillar cake because it’s delicious.

We saw adverts for a Count Colin the Caterpillar cake - their special Halloween version - and we’ve all checked in lots of M&S stores, but haven’t seen one anywhere! We’ve been to stores in London, Oxford, and Birmingham (we all live in different cities), and though they have lots of other fun Halloween treats, we can’t find Count Colin in a single shop. We checked online and you can’t order him there either!

So... am I being unreasonable to think that Count Colin was a clever ruse by M&S all along, or has anyone else managed to find one?!

I read they are doing a Christmas Colin too.

BowDownWitches · 23/10/2017 20:38

@InspMorse I’m in London - can’t believe I haven’t found one here yet. But if anyone can help me source him here as well ... !

I think pelmeni has already eaten a count Colin. I'd rethink your choice of cake if I were you OP Grin

Yes, agree with looking on their Halloween display rather than on the cake section. Baby count Colins a plenty near me. Halloween Grin

orecchietti · 23/10/2017 20:44

This is all v reassuring, seems like we need to keep checking!

Elephant17 · 23/10/2017 20:44

I saw one in Crawley on Sunday my DH wanted to buy him!

pelmeni · 23/10/2017 21:16

To be honest, it's my own search for this most elusive of caterpillars that has brought me to despair. Have there been any London sightings??

Mewswalk22 · 23/10/2017 21:18

Pelmeni i was in Waterloo station today and the M&S there has some! Good luck. X

GriseldaChop · 23/10/2017 21:19

I saw one in my local M&S today but afraid I’m in the north east!

TroelsLovesSquinkies · 23/10/2017 21:24

I'm heading into town tomorrow, I think I'll go in Marks and see if I can spot Colin. It might turn into the new Wheres Wally. Catch Colin.

Caulk · 23/10/2017 21:25

I saw the little ones in longbridge last week. If they’re anywhere then they’re there.

Essexgirlupnorth · 23/10/2017 21:27

Lifeisforliving25 · 23/10/2017 21:29

A south west London smAll marks and Spencer's has them as of today ( totally outing myself if I put location as I live opposite and about the only person who shops there 😂)
