Said by a Dr to a 14 year old me.

October 2003 "I'm seeing someone else" said by exdh after 16 years of marriage.

It was the turning point for me to walk away from an emotionally abusive marriage - at 36 I thought I had missed my chance of having a family (exdh infertile) but out of the blue I quickly met dh and one year on from hearing those words I had divorced exdh, married dh and had just found out I was pregnant.

Bad - "it looks like a probable lymphoma of some sort." And then I lost the person closest to me a few months later.

Good - "oh look, two heartbeats." And then I ended up with more children than I ever thought I'd have.

I just don’t want a baby - said to me by my partner of 11 years after we found out I was pregnant. I had an abortion.

I just don’t want to get married and conform. Said to me by the same man.
