For me it's a kebab, so many people wouldn't touch it, but I love that grey, greasy meat 😂

what do you all enjoy that turns people's stomach?

I was reading this thread thinking hmm I like most of these (haven't tried them all) and then suddenly there's this: Slightly lumpy mash.

Well done Brecon that's the one thing on here that's really made me go "Ugh"

Salad cream sandwiches

LakieLady · 19/10/2017 16:42

I love the taste of Jerusalem artichokes - somewhat perfumed, like parsnips only more so. Unfortunately, they produce indegestion so bad that I feel like I'm dying.

Artichokes should be spelt with a capital F imo, but I love them. I like farty foods generally though: greens, sprouts, kale, cabbage, beans of every description.

Most people find my mature cheddar and blackcurrant jam sandwiches a revolting concept though.

MongerTruffle · 19/10/2017 17:44

BaggypantsCrimplesnitch · 20/10/2017 14:37

On a trip to Iceland we tasted hakarl (fermented shark meat).

I loved it!! Blush

Apparently you're more likely to get on with it if you already like strong ammoniacal cheeses, like a REALLY mature Camembert or Stinking Bishop, which I do.

Monkeybunkey · 20/10/2017 14:46

@MusicToMyEars800 I will have bramley apple sauce on pretty much anything once I've got a jar open!

maddiemookins16mum · 20/10/2017 15:32

I'm partial to a little bit of black pudding.
