OK, share things that "everyone RAVES about" but when you tried it/went there/ate it etc it left you properly underwhelmed and you've almost ashamed to admit it. Don't need to give details or reasons, just name THE THING
I'll start........

Australia

Has anyone said Something About Mary?

I've never met another person (apart from my husband), who doesn't love it and think it is hilarious.

It's shit and people liking it makes me hate the world.

Inertia · 15/10/2017 00:13

Vibrant cities. They are loud and smelly and full of parpy cars!

Kindest regards, Inertia

To the Brighton haters, try Hove!

I live in an Edwardian square which has become the home of famous YouTube vloggers: PewDiePie and his girlfriend Marzia live here and are always visiting KickthePJ in our building and The Anna Edit lives next door and they are all friendly with Zoella and her partner Alfie Deyes of Pointless Blog, so we see them all the time.

It does make for a buzzy atmosphere and I absolutely love living here!

MartinJD · 15/10/2017 00:20

a buzzy atmosphere? That sounds horrific!

Cheers,
MJD

Holidays in general. Happy to sit on my local beach on warm days and sightsee anywhere elsefor couple of days., but am always vaguely disappointed with longer holidays.

Fireworks. Have inwardly wept at the waste of money in my poorer days. Cant see any attraction except maybe for young children.

Loads of people raved about The Hangover and went on about it being SO OMG HILARIOUS.
I waited the whole film for something bloody amazing to happen, I must have blinked.
