I always said I was going to age naturally.
Until - early 50s - I start to look like shit.
Deep crows feet - didn't bother me til they started to creep down my cheeks.
My chin has got those strange wrinkles that Gordon Ramsey had before he got filled.
So, tell me what you've had done and were you happy with it.
Please.

2 x breast augmentations, a full tummy tuck after 2 c sections, Botox 3 areas every 4 months, lip fillers (2ml every 6-12months) fillers in laughter lines every 18 months. Currently planning on a nose job next year. Don't regret any of them, particuarly the tummy tuck. Botox is wonderful as well, especially on crows feet and forehead fine lines. I am 32 so will be looking at getting further facial surgery as I get older.

I am in my mid 30s and have recently noticed my jawline slightly sagging. My friend who has had some minor work done has warned me against using botox, claiming that if I didn't get the jabs continuously, I will wind up ten times worse than when I first started. She says there are other cosmetic treatments available that work much better. I might go with her on a consultation next time. She has had cheek fillers and managed to get her double chin removed. Both very natural looking.

I had a boob job and it was the best thing I ever did. They just feel like a normal part of my body and no one has guessed I have had them done !! I also breastfed successfully after them ( after taking the proper advice) For 9 months both times. Love them. I may consider Botox at some point but not too bad at the moment.

sailorcherries · 13/10/2017 09:01

Can I asl what company and surgeon people who have had tummy tucks, teeth straightening and boob jobs went with?

I'd like to get the ball rolling on researching. Also did you pay in full or utilise payment plans?

Jujaya · 13/10/2017 09:05

I had it done at the Westbourne Centre in Birmingham. Dr Nishikawa. They did it with local anaesthetic and sedation which appealed as I didn't want a general anaesthetic. Had to pay all upfront for it.

MorrisZapp · 13/10/2017 09:09

The pp who had gastric sleeve for six grand in Europe, how much does this cost in the UK? Seems very expensive.

Aridane · 13/10/2017 09:09

OP - try Botox first before anything more invasive

Penhacked · 13/10/2017 09:10

Mid 30s but would still love a nose job. I have always hated it, it bothers me my more than wrinkles and if it was straight I would be much prettier.

MeriReu · 13/10/2017 09:20

Wanted a nose job as long as I can remember.
What companies did people go with? And did anyone do it on finance?
Sorry to hijack op!

I'd love fillers in my lips and a boob job. Probably a tummy tuck too 🙄

DearTeddyRobinson · 13/10/2017 09:33

I've had laser eye surgery, laser teeth whitening, and Botox. I'm 42 and I'm told I look mid 30s. Would definitely recommend all those procedures, Botox is v subtle and should be done about every 6 months. I can recommend a doctor in London if anyone's interested

Maddiemademe · 13/10/2017 10:39

First boob job was with mr chantasaric with MYA - consultation in Bristol and surgery in London. Was absolutely amazing and scars practically non existent.
Second boob job and tummy tuck was with the hospital group - consultation in Exeter and then surgery was in Birmingham. They collect you from your house and also drop you back home again where as with MYA had to arrange it myself.

Anyone considering a tummy tuck the first few days are horrendously painful and I was told to rest for a few weeks but second day as I am a single parent I had to get back to school runs etc, hobbling and bent over. Results though to me were life changing. Never ever been happier with my stomach and now have a 6 pack, something I could only dream of before.

Botox, make sure you review properly. Some practitioners are better than others and some fillers and Botox are better than others. I am not a fan of Juverderm as it doesn't last that long at all. Most clinics seem to use this as I suppose you come back more often for a top up.

KatieHaslam22 · 13/10/2017 10:47

There are now non surgical ways to have your ‘issues’ fixed. Have a look at your local cosmetic surgeon’s website. Also near me there is a place you can go that’s more of a beauty bar offering anything from acrylic nails to thread lifts. No harm in looking and considering options. I get my lips filled there and they are brilliant and will offer advice to you, based on what you want to achieve 🙂 hope you get what your looking for! Good luck!

Austentatious · 13/10/2017 10:51

coolsculpting. Might as well have saved the cash and rubbed an ice cube on my thighs. I am now of the view that the non surgical / non invasive methods are only really good at removing cash and if you want results, you need more aggressive intervention

Zebra31 · 13/10/2017 11:10

Breast reduction from 32GG and now 32E. Hoped for smaller breast (32D) size but so much happier now. I would/will definitly get Botox when I get too wrinkly. SIL has it done and she looks amazing. You can’t tell she’s had it done. Xx

StormTreader · 13/10/2017 11:18

Im still pondering on and off getting a nose job, dont know if its really worth it now at nearly 40 but its all I can see in photos!

PollyPelargonium52 · 13/10/2017 11:21

Roll on cashing in a private pension so I can see to my stomach.

buggerthebotox · 13/10/2017 11:35

I've had BOTOX twice and fillers once. The first time I had BOTOX it was done by a nurse and was not good. I looked very odd indeed for a while-I don't think she did the upper muscles or something.....I had that characteristic look - kind of wide-eyed and frowny all at once....

The second time I had BOTOX and fillers together. I didn't like the effect of fillers at all. The BOTOX was so subtle I couldn't notice it, but at least it was with a medical practitioner.

I haven't got anything at the moment but I have been considering a thread lift. Reviews are a bit mixed though.

The Realself website is good for inspiration.

HillaryWinshaw · 13/10/2017 11:37

I had a tummy tuck in January. Love the results, and the recovery wasn’t half as bad as I’d feared.

Nandoshoes · 13/10/2017 11:44

I've had a nose job & Boob implants.

Nose job with transform- AVOID
boob job with revitalie in turkey - 2700 + 170 quid flights- stayed in a villa for a week with other ladies having stuff done- own rooms, chef comes three times a day. Lady there to look after you help you wash etc.

Seen the doctor every other day to check on me etc.

My mum went the same place and had tummy tuck and lipo and breast uplift- about 5 years ago all fine. looks ace. Would recommend.

I do want veneers however I don't want my own teeth filed down to pegs :|

I do get botox as I have a constant frown which aches my face.

Had cheek fillers hated them don't know why I even bothered.

FeralBeryl · 13/10/2017 11:51

All of you nose job wanterers- find a medical practitioner that offers non surgical rhinoplasty. It's a great way (depending on your 'problem') of seeing if it's worth going for the more invasive surgical rhinoplasty.

To want to have a nice chat about the cosmetic surgery you've had
sailorcherries · 13/10/2017 12:11

I just want a slimmer nose, no bumps etc to consider

Tummy and boobs can wait until I'm at my target weight.

reflexfaith · 13/10/2017 12:49

Regular botox since my mid forties, now early 50s
Fillers in temples and cheeks
I would consider a facelift but I'm hoping that new less invasive procedures will become available in the coming years

Also had a thread lift a few years ago but didn't really reckon much to it

GirlOnATrainToShite · 13/10/2017 13:15

I have had Botox Blush

BettySwollocksandaCrustyRack · 13/10/2017 13:20

I had a thigh lift a couple of years ago, still hate my legs, can't work out if I regret it or not.

Had botox a couple of times. Love it, but skint at the moment so just got a fringe instead lol

RoseWhiteTips · 13/10/2017 13:24

It seems some people are willing to go under anaesthetic - with all the possible complications of it, the surgery and the risks of infection - because they imagine it improves their appearance. It doesn’t.
