No other room. He refuses to sleep on the sofa. I do sometimes but I'm 50 and too old for sofas

In double bed nursing 3 day old baby who is intermittently screaming and DH is snoring his head off next to me with earplugs in himself as I snore... I'm too tired to kill him or be angry!!!

Silicone ear plugs are better than foam ime

Sleeping headphones. They work. I have bought a headphone extension and plug them either into my tv in my bedroom or go to a 30 hour relaxing music (there are hundreds to chose from) on YouTube via my iPad.
I feel your pain, please try these or a similar make, there are dozens to chose from, suiting every price range.

DH sleeps downstairs on sofa bed. I can still hear him.

But it’s a million times better than it being in my ear. Plus his mysterious bruises have cleared up

I share my bed with snoring husband and snoring son (4) and it's beautiful they're really bloody loud too. When DH gets too bad I poke him in the ribs with a toe and he stops - that actually works!

I feel your pain- I sleep with earplugs in for that very reason and can still hear DH, but I suppose it's a bit muffled. No spare room to banish him to, either...

My dh has a cpap machine. It's so noisy. Sounds like a boeing 747 in reverse thrust. It's quieter if he can keep his mouth closed. But he can't.

I have to slope off to the spare bedroom most nights.
I'd much prefer it if 'he' would sleep in the spare, because the telly and the radio is in our main bedroom, and he has no use for them because he's too busy being asleep and making big intolerable noises.

My dh goes to sleep within minutes of his head hitting the pillow.
It takes me a couple of hours before sleep envelopes me.

I think he's incredibly selfish to hog the room with the telly and radio in it, when the only effort he has to put in to go to sleep is shut his fucking eyes and he's gone. Whilst I'm still going things over in my head about what needs to be done tomorrow.

My DH snored so loudly I could hear him from the spare room. Turned out he ha s sleep apnea, he left it so long to get help he was in serious danger of damaging his heart and brain. As soon as he got the CPAP machine the snoring disappeared. Maybe something to rule out?

C: even when I relegate you to the couch because I can't take anymore , I CAN STILL HEAR YOU!!

Genuine question- if you are in a different room how do you kick him? (DH is that loud)

Theimpossible - there’s a thing in the works called snore no more. It’s an extendable boxing glove. Only goes as far as 70cm though.
