To think my cleaner shouldn't eat all the biscuits

I've noticed that my cleaning lady is clearing me out of biscuits. She eats an entire biscuit tin whilst she's in my home. So 1-2 packets. She's never asked if it's ok or replaced anything. I've never offered them to her either.

I would just ask her and say.

I would prefer you bring your own biscuits or just wait till after your shift.

Or if your going to eat al my biscuits can you tell me so I can get more for the people who live here.

So what are you going to do, OP?

MyBrilliantDisguise · 01/10/2017 21:37

I think she would get the hint quickly enough if there were no longer any biscuits there. Or you could put packets in the cupboard and see what happens.

I would be very surprised if that's all she's taking, though.

'I've noticed the entire tin of biscuits is gone after you've been here. If you are taking them, please stop. '

NoCanoe · 01/10/2017 21:48

Put an unopened packet in the tin.

See what happens.

KurriKurri · 01/10/2017 21:50

Buy nasty biscuits. e.g Garibaldi

Andylion · 01/10/2017 21:51

Thanks, *blankface.
That's a lot of biscuits.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 01/10/2017 21:52

Garibaldi are delicious!

What is wrong with you?

sizeofalentil · 01/10/2017 21:52

I was going to post something similar about our builder but was worried about being flamed… Not biscuits, but packets of rice cakes, bread and other savoury snacks. Possibly tins of soup and beans too. He doesn't always (remember to) bring lunch with him, so think he's just been grazing from our cupboards. Instead of going to the shops.

Don't mind the cost of it (a few pounds a week) but it's the principle of the matter.

Won't ever dare confront him though as hoping it means he's working so hard he doesn't want to break to go to the shops cafe. And he's lovely otherwise (and nice to our cat, which is the main thing).

thegirlupnorth · 01/10/2017 21:53

It's theft at the end of the day, what else is she helping herself to? Make sure tin is empty this week or just has two in and see what happens.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 01/10/2017 21:54

Garibaldi are my favourites.

Crouchendmumoftwo · 01/10/2017 21:55

It wouldnt bother me, buscuits are cheap and they are ony biscuits. It's a bit petty in the grand scale of life.

daisychain01 · 01/10/2017 21:55

Are you serious, 2 packets in one cleaning session ? Shock

How often does she clean for you?

She must be as big as a house!

Crouchendmumoftwo · 01/10/2017 21:56

I mean grand scheme of life. It's really not much, I wouldnt have the heart to say anyting over something quite small.

AnnieAnoniMouse · 01/10/2017 21:56

Such busy little PBP's this weekend.

PBPs?

thepurplehen · 01/10/2017 21:57

What's a pbp?

OP posts:
Sohurt17 · 01/10/2017 22:00

Yeah

AnnieAnoniMouse · 01/10/2017 22:05

Maybe you're not a PBP 😳

I should have checked for a posting history first, not afterwards. Sorry. It's been packed with them this weekend, starting barking threads like this 😂

You don't post often, but you post some bonkers stuff when you do. Fair play to you.

It's probably one of the kids sneaking back to squirrel them away. Maybe the one off to uni is scared of starving 😂

gladisgood · 01/10/2017 22:08

Can someone please explain PBP?

AnnieAnoniMouse · 01/10/2017 22:08

IF you're actually serious & IF you are SURE it's her and not the kids (or DH 😂) then stop using her. Anyone doing something so blatantly obvious won't have stopped at biscuits. Check things you keep 'put away'.

MarmaladeIsMyJam · 01/10/2017 22:08

Once again, Why haven't you asked her?
