Mine has to be the long loud argument between my neighbours about anal sex. It went on for 15 hours. Such gems as her screaming at him " anyone who wants to fuck a woman up the arse must be a fucking poof anyway". She had her period and wasn't in the mood. All at the top of their voices. For 15 hours. Charming.

I heard a boy on the bus asking a girl to meet him, he asked her can I come in your mouth, and she didn't hang up on him sad. I really feel sorry for young girls today. That made me think just what is wrong with this world.

Wow, that's an overreaction and a half.

He asked; he didn't force it on her.

And why should she hang up on him? Why would you feel sorry for her? Why does him asking that mean there's something wrong with the world?

I'm so confused!

Partners friend and his wife discussing how awful I am based on what partner has been saying to them behind my back whilst on a camping trip recently.
I still haven't told him exactly what I heard even though I should as it was untrue and really quite spiteful. It absolutely eats me up at the moment, he tells me he loves me every day and I am becoming more and more angry each time.

saveforthat · 28/09/2017 20:53

Sally how do you know they were Muslim is that relevant and what did you overhear

EverythingEverywhere1234 · 28/09/2017 20:57

'It wasn't even a bloody miscarriage.. it'd have just been like a heavy period, I don't know why she's making such a drama'
Between two very very close family members of mine. I'd made the least fuss imaginable, i'd mentioned it was all over in a detached way and that was it. Left the room to go to the loo, and that's what I heard. Went straight back and cried Sad

On a lighter note, I heard my brother shagging his girlfriend and he was the one making the most noise. I coughed, I clattered, I tried everything to make my presence in the house known but they were clearly too into it 😂

Someone who seemed to work in HR. Discussing whether or not their company could sack someone for gross misconduct. In a very loud voice. For about 20 minutes. On a packed commuter train. The conversation was eventually closed by HR person saying 'of course, this is a very sensitive situation. It's important that all the details are kept confidential.'

Everyone in the train carriage was like this --> Shock

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 28/09/2017 20:59

It went on for 15 hours. What the argument or the anal sex.Wink

caringdenise009 · 28/09/2017 21:00

Whattodoaboutthis the whole conversation was just so awful, heard from his side admittedly. He was about 15. So I guess she was the same age. His tone was aggressive. I wouldn't mind a man saying that about a private act if it was in a private place. But he had, obviously started the conversation by telling her very loudly that he was ON THE BUS. It was one of those stealth boast conversations, and I thought that a young girl deserved better than that.

This was 10 or so years ago. It's stick with me. It was horrible to hear someone being subjected to it. It was like, well if you want to see me you will have to let me do what I want . And her not hanging up meant she would go along with it.

I was sat in a toilet at work (office). Two women I knew came in. One was 7 weeks pregnant, or so she said to other colleague....
'Nah, it's just a feckin blip'....know what mate? Abortion is a form of birth control for me....'..

BoffinMum · 28/09/2017 21:02

My parents engaging in LIGHT foreplay whilst quietly giggling when we were sharing a room in a motorway hotel while we were a kid, and they thought we were fast asleep.

BRAIN BLEACH!
GROSS!

lastqueenofscotland · 28/09/2017 21:03

I overheard a conversation in a pub that broke my heart recently. Young girl who was obviously having major doubts about an imminent wedding pouring her heart out to a friend. God the whole thing was so tragic.

fruitofthenight · 28/09/2017 21:03

I took an overdose as a teenager and ended up in hospital, a few months later I overheard one of my parents saying they wish I'd died. I completely blanked it out.

caringdenise009 · 28/09/2017 21:03

Babyspider she was ADAMANT that it wasn't going to happen, but he wouldn't give up.

caringdenise009 Okay, context is important. Because it sounded like you were saying there was something wrong with it, when between a consensual couple there isn't.

caringdenise009 · 28/09/2017 21:05

Oh fruitofthenight that's terrible, you poor thing. I hope life got better.

Wicked I went on to marry him, and we're still married now. I'd always known he's a bit weird re: weight/bodies and has never seemed to fancy me much anyway, but it was my parents' comments which stung me the absolute worst.

I'll never forget the betrayal.

RuncibleSp00n · 28/09/2017 21:12

Fruit That's so heartbreaking Flowers.

You've reminded me: I too took an overdose as a 20year-old. When my parents returned from holiday the day after I was discharged from hospital, I heard my mum (from my sickbed where I was recovering) complaining bitterly about 'the disgusting mud on the stair carpet' (a small mark left by the paramedics' boots as they'd raced up the stairs to resuscitate me).

I felt more crushed and worthless at hearing this than the mud itself.

Mammatron · 28/09/2017 21:12

Two women talking and one said 'I know he loves me coz he shags me and buys me chips' 🤦🏼‍♀️

ARoseforEmily · 28/09/2017 21:17

Not the worst but one which made me raise my eyebrows

In a pub
Man 1, I'm tired, I'm up and down to the toilet all night
Man 2 Oh I don't have that problem, If you pish in the bed you don't have to get out and it warms you up too.

hannah1992 · 28/09/2017 21:28

I have also heard my neighbours arguing about sex. Seems to be that she doesn't want it as much as he does and he gets shirty about it. From what I hear it normally goes:
Her: will you stop fucking pestering me it's all you ever think about.
Him: well you never think about anything so someone has to
Her: so now you're saying I'm thick?
Him: no but it would be nice to feel wanted
Her: you're kissing me off just go to bed
Him: why don't you want to sleep with me? We used to do it all the time

By this point he's just whining and she's shouting and I'm thinking wow 😳

They were also arguing yesterday morning outside the front of the house for all the street to hear about why he hadent done the washing up the night before. He's a taxi driver and turns out he didn't get in until 1am and had to do an airport run at 6am so went straight to sleep and she was so angry about it.
Come to think she may have anger issues 🤔

My ex MIL stating to her husband that I was just the tunnel that her grandchildren travelled though.

My god. Some people!

Sorry, just lost for words on these vile things being uttered:-(

Whatamesshaslunch · 28/09/2017 21:35

Hearing your parents being down on you is just horrible. Flowers to runcible, fruit and proverbial.

caringdenise009 · 28/09/2017 21:39

OMG Hannah, that was pretty much the 15 hour argument, those very words. On repeat, with lots of anal, periods and blood thrown in for good measure. I did admire her resolve, she wasn't having any of it. I considered calling the police but she could hold her own, I'll say that for her.

My first boyfriend (age 16) liked to tell me I was ugly. He turned to me once when we were out watching a comedy show and said "you look so ugly in this light". Also told me a friend of his didn't like me because I "wasn't as attractive" as his previous girlfriends.

Another girl at school also initiated a conversation within earshot asking a table of her friends if they thought I was pretty as she just couldn't decide.

Thanks a fucking bunch.
