Maybe it's just me, but I'll kick off with:
Booby monster (or any kind of 'monster')
Figetbum (not seen this often, but it is so horrific I can't forget it)
Snuggly cuddles (see also milky cuddles, and sleepy cuddles or snuggles)
Newborn, used as a noun, not an adjective - as in my newborn, not my newborn baby.
I'm sure I will think of some more!

OP posts:

Dh/Ds/dd is used to avoid saying the persons actual name, its just convenience.

I see jealous / mad jealous of sahm bandied about a bit. Nope not jealous but im not a lesser mum because I work.

Damnthatonestaken · 26/09/2017 13:19

Also performance parenting. Im australian, never heard of that here. Supposedly that would mean im a pp though, right?

Damnthatonestaken · 26/09/2017 13:21

And biscuits when the op has raised a completely legitimate concern like smoking in a cancer ward or something. I want to say Biscuit no i think youre the one that needs it

EvilDoctorBallerinaDuckKeidis · 26/09/2017 13:21

Only if you read Proust extremely loudly to your DC in cafés Damnthat! 😂

TheViceOfReason · 26/09/2017 13:29

veggies / eggies / beanz / cheeze

Stop it. It's not cute.

HeteronormativeHaybales · 26/09/2017 13:50

I'm one of those 'work from home' offenders, the problem in my case being that, combined with other info I may have given, my job might actually be (and I am cringing a bit for myself here Grin ) identifying, at least to someone who knew me. I've spotted several people I know IRL on here before so prefer to be a bit circumspect.

Yes to the 'slim' and 'active' children. Oh, and all the tall husbands. They always seem to be at least 6 foot 4.

cluelessnewmum · 26/09/2017 14:04

Not the point of this thread but I like it when people use the phrase "brass neck" "wind in their brass neck" - not a phrase used in my region so I'd never heard it other than Mumsnet, but I like it!

ThePurpleOneWithTheNut · 27/09/2017 09:52

And so it begins

Sounds so condescending.

PutTheBunnyBackInTheBox · 27/09/2017 11:50

cluelessnewmum "wind your neck in" is widely used over here. Brass usually isn't involved though, we're obviously not an affluent enough area Grin

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 27/09/2017 12:04

Brass neck and wind your neck in are used here, both make me laugh Grin

WomblingThree · 27/09/2017 13:07

People who feel the need to put their dress size, height, weight and bra size on every fucking post. No one gives a shit.

winedancer · 27/09/2017 13:36

I never understand that either, I always think it makes the biscuit giver look daft especially when all the following posts are supportive of the Op.

I think a biscuit in that situation might be because it’s common sense that (taking your example) smoking shouldn’t allowed in a cancer ward. They have no need to ask but they’re (sometimes) posting so they can be told how amazing they are for realising.

winedancer · 27/09/2017 14:11

Yes probably courtney, i'm thinking of instances in general. it's

LetZygonsbeZygones · 27/09/2017 14:19

Hand hold needed.
Why can't people just say in the subject what they're really upset about.

Damnthatonestaken · 27/09/2017 14:38

'That parent ' is another saying i think is overused. Gee im grumpy arent iGrin

stopfuckingshoutingatme · 27/09/2017 18:59

I feel reallly mean but I ignore the 'hand hold' titles as it annoys me

Which is harsh but I know others go in

What's a decent alternative ? as 'talk to me wise MN' also annoys me

LadyFairfaxSake · 27/09/2017 19:12

Confront as in "I need to confront don't I?" Confront what or whom ffs?
Call them out on it, aargh!
Beyond, as in "beyond fuming",
Fuming / livid,

OyyVeyy · 27/09/2017 19:15

LTB - for stupid reasons that really don't amount to having to get divorced!
