Ok, so I know its an old film, but it's a favourite and I recently rewatched it. And I will brace myself for no replies.

But it's so good. Every line is a classic. And not many of my peers have seen it/share my sense of humour. So in case of any like minded ones...

FORK IT!!

busyboysmum · 22/09/2017 21:38

We had a cottage in Wales growing up in the 70s and the firm rang a lot of bells with me.

Here hare here also my favourite line in a film ever.

Beastly little parasite, how dare you? You little thug!

HexeSauerkraut · 22/09/2017 21:48

Get that damned little swine out of here. It's trying to get itself in with you, it's trying for even more advantage! It will die, it will die!

Blondielongie · 22/09/2017 21:48

Rightpivotturn the sky is beginning to bruise - ah that's a line that sticks in my head.

Blondielongie · 22/09/2017 21:49

DH introduced me to to it when we met and I love it!

Every time we get fish and chips DH says to me “I've got your savaloy. Here. I don't want it.” or if he is winding me up “if you hit me, it’s murder.”

HexeSauerkraut · 22/09/2017 21:59

There's something quite wonderful about a firm young carrot😉🥕

HexeSauerkraut · 22/09/2017 22:00

Bumdishcloths · 22/09/2017 22:03

@Blondielongie once again that oaf has ruined my day, it's obsessed with its gut, it's shaped like a rugby ball as it is Grin

Spudlet · 22/09/2017 22:07

I'm preparing myself to forgive you...

KarlosKKrinkelbeim · 22/09/2017 22:07

Dh got to use "my wife is having a baby" complete with pathetic voice when stopped by police driving to get to me, just going into labour. They'd closed the road to hebden bridge over the moors which was his quickest way home (v withnail scenery).
It worked!

FindTheLightSwitchDarren · 22/09/2017 22:11

'Once again that little oaf manages to ruin my evening' ..or something along those lines

...it is OBSESSED with it's gut and now, it will die, it will die!

TheCumbrian · 22/09/2017 22:14

Just dropping in to say that I live extremely close to the withnail Lake District house. I've touched it and everything.

It's all posh and done up these days.

OstentatiousWanking · 22/09/2017 22:14

I'm going to watch it tomorrow. It really does get better every time.

sakura06 · 22/09/2017 22:17

Love Withnail! It was also my favourite as a teen, and I am also afraid to re-watch it! Brilliant lines, great soundtrack and I wanted the car.

NameChangeFamousFolk · 22/09/2017 22:21

'Four floors up on the Charing Cross road and never a job at the top of them'

'Burnt! Burnt! The fucking kettle's on fire'

Glorious film. Still wonderful.

flumpybear · 22/09/2017 22:26
