Knickers cover bottoms. Are knickers now so unseemly that girls need to wear a second layer in case A MAN should see a glimpse of white elasticated pants? Are they fuck.

I bought similar from Gap "cartwheel shorts" for my 3 year old. I don't have an objection to her flashing her knickers and the people looking after her are obviously trained individuals and used to little girls flashing everything - but, my daughter is really slight and often her knickers gape a bit despite the "best" fit. Often have see her bits and don't really want to make others uncomfortable and don't want her being self conscious from an early age by constantly telling her. She doesn't know any different.

Someone's buying them. Sold out in younger sizes. It's appalling that they're on sale but it's worse that people are buying them for their girls.

DrKrogers I think at that age most girls are choosing what they want to wear themselves
Choice is limited though, and certainly not made in a vacuum.
Girls wear skirts and dresses to school because that is the uniform for girls, even when they're permitted to wear trousers.
I still think it's interesting, although I do appreciate the idea that girls can now wear something else so they can still choose the dress but not have to show their knickers when they're playing.

The mobile phone thing is an outrage. If there's an issue in a school with boys (or girls, if that's happened) taking pics of girls' underwear in school then school should place an outright ban on phones. No child needs a mobile phone at school anyway.

They shouldn't be called modesty shorts. Little girls shouldn't hear that word in relation to their clothes and doing cartwheels.
