And then, as I mentioned up thread, they recruited 3000 moderators again in May this year after recognising they couldn't get do it all with AI. While they still use a lot of AI and are pushing this it is incorrect to say they have removed all their human moderators.

Indeed. Although the moderators aren't doing quite the same job as the news curators.

The curators were choosing/approving stories to promote as stories. The moderators are removing images of violence and sexual assault, among other things.

There might be overlap, of course. And ultimately they're both deciding what content gets hosted or promoted on FB.

When people have an agenda and are constantly posting threads etc about that agenda, it can be very difficult to fact check / debate / offer a counter point when there is so much propaganda being pushed.

People hear one narrative. Some of it may be true. Some may be fake. But if you only hear the same narrative pushed by many people in many areas, that's going to influence your views.

(And the irony isn't lost on me on this thread)

And he did just as she asked.

“This is getting crazy,” she said. “McConnell repeatedly asks Trump to stop tweeting, Pelosi gets a tweet she wants.”

All she has to do is tell him how much more presidential - and better looking - he is than You Know Who. He's gasping for that.

Maybe that was the Democrats' angle. I can't see Obama worried about it.
Although History will still depict Trump as a petulant child (see transactional analysis).

The Democrats look to be playing him, Bigly. What the GOP Congressional Leadership think is anyone's guess.
