To never wear tights again

All they seem to do is fall down bobble get holes in. I'm yet to find a pair I love. I struggle with the whole denier thing. I want a denier that's opaque and you can't see any skin. Then a pair that's slightly more sheer but not seethrough any tips

23 year olds wear shorter skirts than who?

How do you know the age of everyone on this thread?! Slightly presumptuous! Maybe get off mumsnet if you don't want to hang out with old ladies like us Wink

Ha ha to the assumptions of these youngsters. Also, I've got a pair of Wolford tights older than the OP!

You would have difficulty even finding the damned things in a store where I live (Florida). And I can't remember the last time I saw anyone wearing them.

I haven't worn tights for years. They fell out of fashion in the '90s and these days I have the menopause to keep me warm lol.

SwedishEdith · 30/08/2017 13:22

Oh, I love tights. Means I can wear skirts and dresses in the winter.

I actually quite like Boots tights! They're surprisingly good - the only ones I've found that don't ladder as soon as you look at them.

Primark ones are Ok but I'm very pale skinned and I find their tights tend towards the orange, so they look a bit funny on me but would be great if you're more tanned.
