To buy all my clothes from the same shop?

I love love love this shop and buy all my work wear and everyday clothes from there. I literally don't buy clothes from anywhere else. Is that odd? Do you think that makes my style really boring and predictable?

Ladyeithlapdog I also remember 20 years ago feeling embarrassed going into New Look. I saw it as a step up from What She Wants and Mark One - no idea why! The 'better' shops were Jane Norman, Kookai, Top Shop, Lipsy, Morgan. My friend paid hideous amounts of money on Morgan clothes. I was a student and could not afford it.

OldJoseph · 22/08/2017 21:51

Kaleidoscope

Mummaofboys · 22/08/2017 21:52

I wouldn't worry, mine are 99% Next and so are my kids, I just find it cheap and cheerful, you can buy a new wardrobe every season at Next without breaking the bank.

ChickenVindaloo2 · 22/08/2017 21:52

Meh. 75% of my stuff is from Tesco.

Workwear, leisure, PJs, underwear. It's reasonable quality, good price and can bung it in the trolley.

What's not to like?
More fool thems that spend hours every Saturday trawling all the shops.

I once read you should buy for the life you lead, not the life you want to lead. Which is why about 90% of my stuff is comfortable basics.

PaganGoddessBrigid · 22/08/2017 21:52

I'd forgotten about Morgan. And Kookai! I liked them in my 20s. Were they the same?

Confused009 · 22/08/2017 21:53

This is Reiss for me love this shop

PaganGoddessBrigid · 22/08/2017 21:53

The life I want to lead does not include leisurewear from Tesco. Holy God. Shooot me.

Oblomov17 · 22/08/2017 21:55

I'm surprised you can actually get all clothes from one shop. Few shops fit my shape.

Crispmonster1 · 22/08/2017 21:55

I think it must be Comptoir de cottoniers?! Or Reiss?

Violetcharlotte · 22/08/2017 21:56

I've never really got on with Oasis, some of the clothes are nice, but seem overpriced. Warehouse is the same.

I like New Look, Zara and Gap (for jeans). Also get quite a bit in supermarkets.

Confused009 · 22/08/2017 21:57

I think Reiss too they have really well fitted clothes both workwear and casual and the material actually feels good quality with half decent lining!

hamsterloverlover · 22/08/2017 21:58

i am getting that way with Uniqlo, get nothing in oasis it's way too chinzy

PaganGoddessBrigid · 22/08/2017 22:02

Yes Reiss is always worth checking. I bought a ''going out'' top there at the beginning of the summer and it got a round of compliments every time I wore it.

dogletsrock · 22/08/2017 22:03

There are a few advantages of getting older, one is I don't really care about fashion so much, I buy to please myself!

PaganGoddessBrigid · 22/08/2017 22:05

quite razzmatazz for me but I liked it

shocking price I know but I haven't bought much this summer. I had nothing to go out in that hadnt been seen twenty times.

Nearlyadoctor · 22/08/2017 22:07

I'm the same but mainly Hush for me - although jeans from M&S or Next. Dd (10) has pretty much kept Boden afloat for the last 8 years. If it ain't broke don't fix it as they say!

Wdigin2this · 22/08/2017 22:10

Yes OldJoseph it's Kaleidascope!

EvilDoctorBallerinaDuck · 22/08/2017 22:12

I buy all mine from Sainsbury's, but I'm skint, it's on the doorstep and I don't give much of a shit about clothes. Blush

melissasummerfield · 22/08/2017 22:14

I was going to say Oasis, Yanbu, i love all of their clothes!

OldJoseph · 22/08/2017 22:14

Just had a quick look, 25% off and free delivery as a new customer!

bangingmyheadoffabrickwall · 22/08/2017 22:16

M&S underwear girl here plus their work wear and leggings.

I like GAP hoodies - live in them at home.

Debenhams for casual trousers. Fit my shape perfectly. I also buy some tops from here too - red herring within the store is a favourite of mine.

Next for dresses and tops.

I hate supermarket clothing. The quality isn't there but seeing as my kids grow so much, I'm quite happy to buy from TU and Asda (NOT Tesco) for them but also love my usual haunts for them plus Mothercare and Jojomamanbebe for DD. DS is only 5 but has grown out of their clothes!

DH goes to M&S and sometimes Next. That is it!

ASongOfRiceAndPeas · 22/08/2017 22:19

Whistles and Cos for those investment pieces, though Cos trousers have never fit my short legs their knitwear and tops are amazing and made from interesting fabrics.
Uniqlo is good for coats and cotton/linen tops.
I do love Zara but too much polyester! Same for H&M but if you search online for the premium quality and 'trend' lines there are sometimes gems to be found.
I check websites everyday but buy maybe once a month
I haaate Oasis and Ted Baker (sorry op) too pretty and floral! It does look lovely on other people but not my style.

abigailgabble · 22/08/2017 22:21

thinking about it I am almost head to toe in jigsaw most days

Katinkka · 22/08/2017 22:21

I buy almost all my clothes from Seasalt. I am embarrassed shopping there in their clothes though and have to wear something else. Silly really.

ASongOfRiceAndPeas · 22/08/2017 22:22

How on earth did I forget to mention Mango! They have amazing workwear at great prices. The clothes were awful a few years ago but I just bought two really good quality trousers and two blouses for £60 altogether in the sale. Bargain!
