To buy all my clothes from the same shop?

I love love love this shop and buy all my work wear and everyday clothes from there. I literally don't buy clothes from anywhere else. Is that odd? Do you think that makes my style really boring and predictable?

I could do this in H&M. Nearly every top known is from there.

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 22/08/2017 20:51

Almost all my trousers come from Wallis, because I'm a funny shape (my waist is big and my hips are tiny) and they they fit my waist without looking too jodhpur-like on the hips. I don't even bother trying elsewhere anymore, although Uniqlo legging trousers are ok-ish too.

leccybill · 22/08/2017 20:52

Oh I love Oasis too! Really love their knitwear and trousers and some of tge florals but not too much.
But I do think everything should be £10 cheaper. Sales are good though.

highinthesky · 22/08/2017 20:56

They used to be quite good (but pricey) about 10 years ago, then most of them shut down. There isn't one in our city anymore.

There's one in my local high street - I never go into it though. The stuff is just not me, everything is far too lightweight. I like my clothes to be made of sterner stuff.

Ttbb · 22/08/2017 20:58

If I could afford to buy all of my clothes from my favourite shop you bet I would!

baileysyumm · 22/08/2017 20:58

No I don't work for them. I do tend to buy most of their stuff through Debenhams/House of Fraser though as they often do brand events or 20% off etc and free delivery. But they often don't have the stuff I like or newest stuff so do end up buying it full price direct from Oasis sometimes.

OP posts:
DezTheMoaner · 22/08/2017 21:03

All my stuff comes from Oxfam.

Gabilan · 22/08/2017 21:08

I was going to guess Oasis or Warehouse. Most of my stuff comes from La Redoute but they're quite varied. And I intersperse it with charity shop stuff and things from French clothes shops.

I don't know if anyone would notice unless they shopped there a lot themself.

mmmmnuts · 22/08/2017 21:16

Yep, any new clothes I buy (for myself) almost all come from the same shop - you just can't argue with Primark prices! I do occasionally splash out on H&M though. Just occasionally.

Wdigin2this · 22/08/2017 21:19

I love a certain catalogue and here's the riddle
It begins wit K and ends with E....
with pretty colours all in the middle!

EvenworsethanGlen · 22/08/2017 21:21

Kettlewise?

Wdigin2this · 22/08/2017 21:22

Haha...not quite!

Babyblues14 · 22/08/2017 21:24

Kleeneeze catalogue that gets posted every week???

InvisibleKittenAttack · 22/08/2017 21:25

I started buying a lot from Oasis as well last year, they do seem to have upped their game rather. New Look also seem to have moved away from the "everything is designed for 12 year olds".

Wdigin2this · 22/08/2017 21:27

Not Kleeneeze!

Puffpaw · 22/08/2017 21:28

Cefinn? Reiss?

newmummysw · 22/08/2017 21:29

I could have written your OP baileysyumm! I buy absolutely everything from Oasis, it's a dangerous addiction given the prices!

Puffpaw · 22/08/2017 21:29

Oh I missed two whole pages! Yes oasis is good

Ktown · 22/08/2017 21:31

I agree with your method op. I love fashion but haven't shopped anywhere but other stories, uniqlo, m and s and occasionally cos, for a couple of years now.
Shopping trips are easier and more enjoyable.

KingLooieCatz · 22/08/2017 21:32

That's me and Mountain Warehouse. For posh, Trespass.

2017SoFarSoGood · 22/08/2017 21:33

I think it is fabulous to know one place to shop, that fits your body and your taste. Not at all weird.

I'm in love with one particular designer and have spent all of my clothing budget (and some!) for the past year on items from their lines. It is really easy to wear together, to mix and max, to feel dressed up or dressed down but smart, and it is now MY look. The fact they are made for 'curvy women' but with a sort of Helmut Lang vibe means I feel fashion forward, smart and comfortable. I ws so miserable going into regular shops and finding little to fit me, and what did was too old or frumpy or granny or terrible fabric or something else that emphasized me feeling bad about how I looked.

Now I know what I'm getting and that it will be exactly what I wanted and will fit. What's not to love?

dogletsrock · 22/08/2017 21:34

I have a thing for Jigsaw, I absolutely love it. I would rather buy less and save up for it, the good thing is it's not really fashionable so I still wear things from a number of years ago. Being slightly autistic I have a real thing for how things feel and certain fabrics make me really anxious and Jigsaw clothes feel nice.

CyclesPerfecta · 22/08/2017 21:35

I love Oasis too! Get lots of compliments on my work dresses.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 22/08/2017 21:45

Matalan.

PaganGoddessBrigid · 22/08/2017 21:47

I know dogletsrock. I have found in the last two years that the clothes I'm buying don't date. Or at least they date much more slowly so I finally feel I've got the hang of clothes buying. At my advanced age.

I am tempted by this beautiful item here so tempted
