Who pushed that woman over into the path of a bus.

What a complete and utter wanker - who the hell does that?

Thank goodness she was OK (physically at least- she'll probably be rather nervous about walking along the pavement now Sad

I think what people are seeing as her foot flicking up in the split second before he pushes her is actually her coat flapping. If you watch the whole video from where she enters the footage you can see her coat flaps on both sides of her and does again right before he pushes her.

KitNCaboodle · 08/08/2017 16:14

Like when you're walking and you put one foot out in front of another?

No, like when you see someone and think you want to trip them up.

pongoismyhero · 08/08/2017 16:14

This is awful

I remember last year - I'd just had DS and was out for one of my first walks with him in the sling, in a PND haze, c section wound still hurting so moving quite slowly. Total arsehole jogger shouts "EXCUSE ME" and then when I didn't move quickly enough (because I was in a sleep deprived fug and didn't really register he was right behind me), he literally rammed into the back of me and I nearly fell over. He then ran off while yelling back "well, I did say excuse me!"

Total and utter wanker. I see joggers like this all the time sadly, think they own the bloody pavement. This was a busy London street, not a park!

dustarr73 · 08/08/2017 16:14

Ive watched this today and what I noticed was he moves out of the way for the man.But pushes the woman. What an awful thing to do.
Very lucky that bus wasn't going any faster.

picklemepopcorn · 08/08/2017 16:14

She lifts her leg again just next to him- not toward him, and he shoves her as she is on one leg.

AztecHero · 08/08/2017 16:15

I am not sure if I am seeing this,or imagining it. In the footage I see the jogger pulling the woman with his arm closest to her and smacking/pushing her with the other. So a pull and hit motion.

Can anyone else see it,or am I delusional?

TinyRick · 08/08/2017 16:15

Man ignores other man in the same space.

Pushes woman in the into an on coming bus.

And we have 'no need for feminism now'...apparently.

Fucking cunt.

bellasuewow · 08/08/2017 16:16

Looks like another hate crime by a male against an innocent woman. I hope they catch him he can then be another statistic of unprovoked attacks by men against women ad the media can blather on about how rare it is. Blaming her for this crime is all too typical of our culture.

picklemepopcorn · 08/08/2017 16:16

I wondered if her knee came out toward him and got snagged. He definitely turns towards her at that point.

at the minimum he could have given her more space.

DamnDeDoubtanceIsSpartacus · 08/08/2017 16:16

She. Is. Just. Walking. Along

nina2b · 08/08/2017 16:17

Seems to be a pretty clear CCTV image so there is every chance the moron will be caught.

MeanAger · 08/08/2017 16:17

just after she comes on screen, she lifts her right leg right up and perhaps adjusts her shoe.

No it's her coat flapping.

TinyRick · 08/08/2017 16:17

Errant 'in the'...

stillvicarinatutu · 08/08/2017 16:18

i cant believe he didnt stop! that cctv is pretty good. i think he will be very identifiable from it. he will have some questions to answer.

what a dick.

DamnDeDoubtanceIsSpartacus · 08/08/2017 16:19

at the minimum he could have not shoved her into the road, that would have been nice.

picklemepopcorn · 08/08/2017 16:21

In the unlikely event that it was completely accidental, he should have given her more space. He barged into her route. That was all I meant. At the time I thought she was on one leg fiddling with her shoe, but looking again perhaps it's an optical illusion with the coat flapping and her foot stepping forward out of sight.

MumIsRunningAMarathon · 08/08/2017 16:21

we are discussing this on runmummyrun fb page......it looks like he targets her (different link)

he kind of swivels into her.....nobody is blaming her, merely trying to understand how a sane person would do this. it makes no sense whatsoever

terrylene · 08/08/2017 16:21

If you look at the top of them, rather than the feet, which is hard because it is right at the top of the shot, he just homes right in on her and uses both arms. It is very fast.

misskelly · 08/08/2017 16:22

*Like when you're walking and you put one foot out in front of another?

No, like when you see someone and think you want to trip them up*

But her leg only swings up when he grabs her.

nina2b · 08/08/2017 16:23

Whatever, he has a case to answer. Forget reasons or excuses. The horrible creature behaved like a thug.

ClamBakeSnake · 08/08/2017 16:23

I saw this and couldn't believe what I was watching. Thank God the bus was able to swerve in time or her head would have popped open like a watermelon. Shocking.

tiredbutFINE · 08/08/2017 16:23

Not sure if it's a London thing, but it's very common in my daily life on pavements or on the tube. Loads of space to the side of me, a tiny gap on the other side and a man HAS to barge me getting through the non existent tiny gap. And then turn round and give me shit for being in the way. Has happened twice in the last week. I'd hope it was me attracting them but I saw one do it to a heavily pregnant woman last week. I guess it's because they are very busy and important and we're not?

MumIsRunningAMarathon · 08/08/2017 16:24

they are both moving at speed.....in order for the female to trip him she would need to be stationary....she wasn't. he deliberately turned into her

Ceto · 08/08/2017 16:25

It reminds me of that cyclist that knocked down a teenage girl crossing a road at a pedestrian crossing. He had time to shout, "I'm not stopping for you" or something equally arseholey, but she didn't hear

I came across a cyclist doing exactly this. A redoubtable woman said loudly "Oh, I think you are" as she pushed her case out in front of her. And arsehole cyclist suddenly discovered he could operate his brakes after all.

lalalalyra · 08/08/2017 16:25

I think the fact he runs off shows the intent. If someone gets in your way and you knock them into the road then you stop surely?

a jogger ran out in front of me from a side street and sent himself flying. It wasn't my fault in any way, but I still stopped to see he was ok.

When someone goes into the traffic unexpectedly you stop to check on them... unless it was your fault and you don't want to be there when the police arrive perhaps?
