Who pushed that woman over into the path of a bus.

What a complete and utter wanker - who the hell does that?

Thank goodness she was OK (physically at least- she'll probably be rather nervous about walking along the pavement now Sad

I've been the jogger who was pushed. Running along, I moved as far as I could to my left, even as far going on the grass, and this bloke decided that wasn't far enough and literally shouldered me to the ground. The rest of the pavement was clear, so he really was out to knock me off my feet.

Miaow - I hope you reported that to the run director. Our local parkrun we are always very aware that other park users have priority.

SparklingBollox · 08/08/2017 16:00

What an arse, he even appears to look back so notices what he has done. How could he just carry on like that ?

amusedbush · 08/08/2017 16:02

That's horrific. The woman doesn't do anything - he just shoves her clean off her feet!

That sort of random violence makes me nervous. Before our last trip to New York there had been reports of random people being shoved off the platform in front of subway trains and I stood as far back on the platform as possible.

Bluntness100 · 08/08/2017 16:02

I also viewed it a few times and paused and I think he simply shoves her out of his way as he is running past. It doesn't look like she tries to trip him up first.

I'm not sure it's as malicious as wanting to throw her under the bus, I think he just shoves her out the way.

AztecHero · 08/08/2017 16:03

actually, before I was looking so hard at the legs that I did not notice his arms. he appears to smack her hard at the same time as pushing.

LineysRun · 08/08/2017 16:05

He uses a lot of force on her torso area.

misskelly · 08/08/2017 16:05

The thing about this that shocks me most is not that a man out running passes a man without incident but veers over and shoves a women over, it's the sheer volume of numptys who have tried to blame the women.

He clearly moves over in front of her and shoves her. If you were walking behind another pedestrian and saw a runner suddenly move over and and suddenly run straight for you how would you react? She doesn't kick him but if she had better reactions she should have.

Yet again a women is assaulted by a man but it's some how her fault.

HappyAxolotl · 08/08/2017 16:06

He runs straight past a man walking on the pavement, same positioning as the woman but just ahead of her. There is more than enough room for two people to pass. Then the jogger sees the woman and changes course to run right at her.

I watched both links and I didn't see the woman kick, but others say they did see it. We don't see the runner's face and expression as he charges at the woman, maybe she felt he was going to harm her and any kick from her was a reaction from fear. If he'd run past her as he had the man, he wouldn't have been anywhere near her feet.

Freaky thing for the jogger to do and I hope they catch him. Thank goodness the bus missed the woman's head and didn't hit another vehicle as it swerved.

megletthesecond · 08/08/2017 16:06

It does look like he veered towards her despite having a whole pavement to himself.

Therealslimshady1 · 08/08/2017 16:07

I swim a lot, and get shoved out of the way or kicked regularly by men who think I am in their way, even if I was in the lane first

TheCraicDealer · 08/08/2017 16:08

It's not surprising that it's nearly four months later before they released the footage. I'd imagine that's a fairly last resort as you'll probably get loads of (often worthless) leads that will need to be chased up. So it makes sense that they'd try to pin down the jogger wanker's route first- but as someone's already said there are so many CCTV cameras in London that that would take an incredible amount of man hours. Then they maybe tried to wait on him and see if he returned to what was perhaps a habitual route, but he's obviously had the willies put up him and taken himself elsewhere to terrorize other women, dogs and small children who are stupid enough to get in his way.

It reminds me of that cyclist that knocked down a teenage girl crossing a road at a pedestrian crossing. He had time to shout, "I'm not stopping for you" or something equally arseholey, but she didn't hear. He knocked her down, she hit her head on the pavement and was killed.

DamnDeDoubtanceIsSpartacus · 08/08/2017 16:08

How can anyone think that she is at fault in any way? He runs towards her and shoves her into the road.

A man literally shoving a woman under a bus.

Thank goodness for the actions of the driver, they were on the ball.

MeanAger · 08/08/2017 16:08

When he pushed her she was mid step and her right leg was already off the ground. As he pushed her of course it flung out the side with the momentum as she spun round.

KurriKurri · 08/08/2017 16:08

He seems quite happy not to shove the man he passes just before he gets to the woman, he had plenty of room to get out of the way.

Whether he noticed the bus or deliberately shoved her at a bus is kind of irrelevant. he pushed her hard enough that she was totally knocked off her feet and fell hard onto the pavement - with no traffic the way she fell she could easily have broken her coccyx or injured her back or banged her head very hard on the pavement and been seriously injured.

I see nothing to suggest she tried to trip him she is just walking along minding her own business and is totally taken by surprise poor thing.

Gobsmacked is the word - it really is breathtakingly awful. What was he thinking? I don't understand the gap between it happening in May and the footage just being released now, though - it's odd.

KitNCaboodle · 08/08/2017 16:08

Watching Lemon's one and I think it does look like she sticks her foot out first

MeanAger · 08/08/2017 16:09

I'm surprised that the police weren't there by the time he came back 15 minutes later.

Yes, I was absolutely horrified by this footage. And I'm also absolutely horrified that anyone could look at the footage and try to blame the victim based on her leg going up as she falls over into the path of an oncoming bus! I hope this man is found and goes to jail.

ShatnersBassoon · 08/08/2017 16:11

Bloody hell, how awful. Somebody must recognise this psychopath.

I really feel for the bus driver too. They must have been reeling from the shock.

misskelly · 08/08/2017 16:11

Watching Lemon's one and I think it does look like she sticks her foot out first

Like when you're walking and you put one foot out in front of another?

picklemepopcorn · 08/08/2017 16:12

Earlier in the video, just after she comes on screen, she lifts her right leg right up and perhaps adjusts her shoe. I wonder if she did something similar as he approached.

OuaisMaisBon · 08/08/2017 16:12

Whereas I've watched Lemon's link and I don't think it looks as if she sticks her foot out first, particularly if you look at the slow-motion.

DamnDeDoubtanceIsSpartacus · 08/08/2017 16:13

Kit Lemons one starts as she is falling, she did not trip him up. He veered towards her and shoved her into the road, under a bus.

Bloody hell women cannot win can they, even when they are shoved in the road under a bus people will contrive to blame them!

Lynnm63 · 08/08/2017 16:13

Hope they find him and charge him with attempted murder. Only for the quick thinking of the driver. If I knew him I'd dob him in.
