I'm so proud my contribution (Grand Old Duke of York parody) is now on Trello!
Inspired by my visit to a pirate party today (kids singing and dancing to the music of Swashbuckle!) here's my latest musical contribution. This is sung to the Swashbuckle tv theme, which all parents of young children will know. If not, Google it! Here goes........
A gang of naughty buil-ders
Went to next door's flat
The building, it is listed
They took no heed of that!
But Watyy caught them at it
She shouted and she stamped
They then took fright, packed up their van
Drove off, they're gone, decamped!
Her SpanGran flew in Monday
These neighbours will not win
She makes a fine paella
Expect she might like gin!
( try as I might I can't think of a rhyme for sangria)
Then planning came round quick-ly
Not pleased with what they found
To get the wall replaced as was
Will cost ten thousand pounds!
(Chorus)
Hey ho, Mumsnetters go!
Take on the neighbours, yo ho ho!
Hey ho, Mumsnetters go!
Mumsnetters cheer - mwah ha!
How's that?
