"Feeling blessed".

OP posts:
candlefloozy · 03/08/2017 15:44

Oh and people referring to their "little ones" about their nephews

Ghanagirl · 03/08/2017 15:51

"Working Smarter"
Said frequently by senior management in NHS, it means yes we know that we're massively understaffed but there's a recruitment freeze so we'll try and bully remaining employees to work even harder!

QuackPorridgeBacon · 03/08/2017 15:51

I've used 'feeling blessed' before. I honestly having nothing to be smug about, but went through trauma and things started to get better.

Over use of it for normal everyday things pisses me off though.

LittleLeif · 03/08/2017 16:15

My worldies
My littlies
I also hate when parents have to state on every picture they post of their child how much they love them.

nina2b · 03/08/2017 16:23

My bad.

nina2b · 03/08/2017 16:23

I text her last week.

nina2b · 03/08/2017 16:24

Open the chest of draws.

nina2b · 03/08/2017 16:25

Going forward.

nina2b · 03/08/2017 16:25

My bestie

Arealhumanbeing · 03/08/2017 16:29

'And we all fell about'.

When describing a group of people laughing.

whothefudge · 03/08/2017 16:35

Loving life.
Bitch, please.
On point.

Envy
Wordsaremything · 03/08/2017 19:06

Some randomer
No ! You mean stranger!

Wordsaremything · 03/08/2017 19:09

Family time. Bleurrggghhh

Chathamhouserules · 03/08/2017 19:27

My bestie... when used by grown up
Change your bum... makes no fucking sense
#loveyoutothemoonandback.. at least be original with your statements that no one else needs to know. Would we presume you didn't love your baby if you didn't keep telling us?

Alicia555 · 03/08/2017 19:31

#justdarling

No! Confused

WetsTheFinger · 03/08/2017 19:35

"Ample assets"

Bamboofordinneragain · 03/08/2017 19:42

"Bear with...".
And worst of all, "at all". As in "would you like any duty free at all?"
No, I don't want any at all, not even just a little bit.
Oh, and "product" when you go to the hairdresser. In fact "would you like any product at all?" Is the worse sentence in the world.
Bear with, while I go and vomit.

FrogsSitonLogs · 03/08/2017 19:57

I also hate boob as a verb.

I'm boobing the baby
I've boobed her all day
Sat here boobing

Why not just say 'fed' or 'feeding'. I just don't understand the need to specify every five minutes that you're breastfeeding. I don't care (Yes I bf my DC).

Shopkinsdoll · 03/08/2017 20:10

Feeling blessed
Making memories
Ok my lovely
Alright Hun
Family time
Putting anything in a hash tag!!

Wordsaremything · 03/08/2017 20:22

Little one. Urge

Wordsaremything · 03/08/2017 20:22

Shock ugh, obviously

BertrandRussell · 03/08/2017 20:35

Snacking. Particularly as the name of an aisle in a supermarket.

BertrandRussell · 03/08/2017 20:36

I didn't realise that boob as a verb was widely used. It's bad enough as a noun!

JustDanceAddict · 03/08/2017 20:41

Boob was not used as a verb when I was bf'ing! It was feeding. The annoying phrase was 'are you feeding her yourself?'
No, I'm leaving her to starve!!

Phineyj · 03/08/2017 21:14

I was a bit puzzled the first time I heard 'I'm feeding her myself'. It made it sound like the alternative was a butler.

My most hated phrase is 'grab bag' - so uncouth - and I hate those adverts that say sofas are 499 - 499 what? Can I pay in buttons?!
