And I momentarily agree with feeling blessed and making memories. Both of these instantly make me dislike the perpetrator a little bit more.

Supper is my evening meal. Some people call it tea, some call it dinner.
It's just what I've grown up with my family calling it...

We have picky tea and we all love it. It's bits and pieces like cold meats, sausages rolls, cocktail sausages, chicken wings drumsticks and so on. We've had it all my life and it's a family favourite! It's called picky tea because you pick what you want! When my OH first had picky tea he didn't know what it was and wondered why we were all excited! On the way home he said it was a fucking buffet I was expecting something amazing the way you were all going on!

pascal, me too! "Supper" is the evening meal you eat if you stay at home. You go out to a restaurant for "dinner".

I grew up saying this, and had no idea it was considered posh/wanky/whatever until I went away to university.
