Hi guys! Wow I've just had a chance to come back on and noticed the last thread is full already?!

There also seems to be loads of people saying they're over it and don't believe me. That's fine, I'm not going to get into an argument with anyone. I had no idea that I would get so many responses when I initially asked for advice on this situation, however, they have really cheered me up through what has been a really crappy few days at points. Thanks all.

Sorry if ive pissed people off.

Anyway my Grandma has landed at the airport and should be with me in a couple of hours. It's not even that far away (she likes to take her time) Grin

I've just realised I've been picturing SpanGran as the granny in the film Strictly Ballroom. Does she have a habit of saying "listen to the rhythm" ? Ken could be like Frans dad. He'd have to have a little jacket and clicky shoes though.

I nipped into work Halo after following 6 threads avidly all weekend, and 'lo and behold it all kicks off when i'm offline Hmm. The trello board is a work of genius.

I saw a thread 'AIBU to give up on ever seeing CFN' or some such thinking it was the new thread from OP.... few neg posters on there moaning about all our 'silliness' and 'the thread getting out of hand' with 'ridiculous poems and songs'!!! 🤔 I skimmed and came straight back to the proper banter on OP real threads! 😂

SpanGran nearly here, I will let you all know how she reacts not only to the threads but the RL situation. If her and my friend get together they will be formidable Grin

Not sure whether to facilitate a meeting, it will happen anyway, but the course of my life may soon be out of my hands Shock Grin oh dear!

Nobody brought any negativity to this thread other than the "supporters". Also, just because someone doesn't like all the songs or poems or doesn't have time to keep up with all the in between posts, doesn't mean they're a "hater" or "jealous". I really don't think anyone is jealous of the OP's situation.

I haven't got time to keep up with the pace the threads are moving at so just skip through to the OP's posts. Same for some other people.

raspberry there have been a couple of threads (about this thread - that's kind of a brain melt) which have been deleted. I think that's what some people are referring to.

Cavemum, Miriam Margolyes is inspired - she'll be fab, and the part is one those 'once in a lifetime' opportunities which I'm sure she won't want to pass up - who could turn down a chance to wear that wonderful stuff, whilst being a lovely and very vocal SpanishGranny riding to the rescue to beat the baddies roundly wielding a paella pan? No-one.

I suggested Nick Frost for newdaddie a few threads ago. Will he not do?
