Hi guys! Wow I've just had a chance to come back on and noticed the last thread is full already?!

There also seems to be loads of people saying they're over it and don't believe me. That's fine, I'm not going to get into an argument with anyone. I had no idea that I would get so many responses when I initially asked for advice on this situation, however, they have really cheered me up through what has been a really crappy few days at points. Thanks all.

Sorry if ive pissed people off.

Anyway my Grandma has landed at the airport and should be with me in a couple of hours. It's not even that far away (she likes to take her time)

Whattyyyy, I must have skim read at some point as have seen no negativity to you, only people saying that they skim most comments looking for yours for updates.
I hope you Gran arrives safely and you have wine in the garden catching her up with what's been happening with the door and then enlighten her about how huge your original post has been.
I admit I am going to miss not catching up at work tomorrow and dreading going on hols to poor signal.

Still on holiday...weather still a bit ropey.... been out to a 'cave' today and tasted and bought ALL the wine.

DD and I were 'kind of' working on a Phantom of The Opera based song but..... WINE! ... so it was a bit crap 😭

I don't care for all the poems and um I haven't actually read them to know what they are but, the lovely thing about this thread is how it is being enjoyed on so many different levels, presumably we are all enjoying sorry Wattyyyy the subject, I'm enjoying the factual bits, typical me, others are planning a film, re-designing the garden, remembering their own CFN's, etc. The best thing about this thread is the number of us joining in, entertaining each other and most importantly taking Wattyyyy mind off this shit.

Right - finally caught up (and still working on my own remastered song, but failing because my children turned feral around thread #6 and are totally spoiling my artistic flow because they are bored with fending for themselves.)

I'm imagining a SpanGran/Ken holiday romance - she goes over to Ken for more Rioja to make her infamous Sangria. He's locking up, offers to carry the crate bottle over for her, there's an invitation to join you for paella and flamenco dancing. Ken whips out a guitar and plays the most beautiful Andalucian folk song which makes SpanGran's eyes moisten with the knowledge she will have to leave this man behind one day.
