Delurking just to say WhatTheWatt needs to start her own thread , user. Many of us skim read long threads by reading just the OPs posts, which are highlighted.

Lynnm63 is right re restoration by hew owner or next owner in the event it's sold as is. Planning will pursue whoever owns it at the time. We were only allowed to keep the conservatory as it is because it had been done over 25 years ago (we bought Grade 2 house where back of it had had conservatory added without permission which apparently would not have been given. Can't be seen from anywhere so Planning weren't aware of it, until we brought them in for something else.)

Op, just start your own thread 8 and then we can follow that one instead. I don't know why anyone else would see the need to butt in - the OP is more than capable of starting her own threads as has been clearly demonstrated with the past 7 threads. I also skim through the threads looking for the OP's posts.

I would do a fake 'leaving the house' either by car or on foot, whatever it is u do and then circle back home and park up ready for a covert op.

I do think user0816 was only trying to be helpful, and maybe panicking a little bit Cut her some slack

There's only been about half a dozen or so on this thread I think-the hours I've saved

Hopefully Op is keeping an eye on it & can see that it's getting full.

OP is probably collecting SpanGran and her pan so hasn't had a chance to post her own yet.

I only skim read too. I'm sure some of you are dedicated enough to read all the songs etc. but not me sadly We need the highlighting!

You can always search by username to find new threads by Watty if the thread fills up before she's had time to link to a new one. No hope of finding it if it's been started by a different user.

I want to say to everyone skimming, for just the op's posts... You're missing out on sooooo much! I've loved the wonderful camaderie that has United in support of what (op) and I too await the hand of justice intervening on poor op's behalf and slapping the CFNs upside the head (so to speak)... I still have a couple of concerns

1. Have CFBs put in an adequate lintel to support the wall above? (an arched window wouldn't have one because the arch would be self-supporting )
2. How did newdaddie's self-nomination of Idris Elba to play him in the movie sneak past the Mumsnet casting panel? Idris is surely too good to play him. I'm thinking Tom Chambers would be good at playing an irritating mansplainer.
