I can't believe we're on 7.

In need to go and catch up on the last couple of pages of 6.

Still no CFN OR ANYONE.

I'm thinking someone will be there tomorrow. HOPEFULLY.

i would imagine the planners would put some sort of order stopping any sale until the damage is repaired to the required standard and also a order making sure any and all fines are paid out before any sale can be completed

SymphonyofShadows · 31/07/2017 14:05

Would it show up in LA searches? If planning weren't aware they might have got away with it. For now.

MadamePomfrey · 31/07/2017 14:10

I'm not sure it's helpful to Watt to imagine the absolute worst case of all the scenarios. All the appropriate authorities have been informed and being kept up to date they will have to handle the legal aspects. There will be laws and legislation in place for all the possible outcomes and those in the know will be able to advice op. Don't want to be a party pooper but I'm not sure speculation about what might happen is helpful. I know personally thinking to much like that in a situation like this would stress me out Beautiful ballards about the saga and unsual barricades to access however.... 😉

Lynnm63 · 31/07/2017 14:10

From what I remember @teabagsrus the new owners would be liable to planning and will be pursued to get it put right although they could pursue the vendors if they could still find them and no they won't gain rights to the ops land. They might get permission for door sized windows but I can't see they'd be allowed to have doors to intrude into the garden as that would be trespass. We had to make sure our extention was 270mm on our land so the guttering would still be on our land.

AlpacaLypse · 31/07/2017 14:11

@WhatIsThisWatt another vote for setting up your new thread now. Number 8 is only just over 120 posts away and it doesn't take many works of musical genius or photos of Spiderman's Bottom to fill up!

TheSnorkMaidenReturns · 31/07/2017 14:11

I second searching the Land Registry but it's not always updated as quickly as it should be.

teabagsrus · 31/07/2017 14:15

Sorry for posting I will ask MNHQ to delete it

SchadenfreudePersonified · 31/07/2017 14:16

I understood your little illustration Shaking - I think it would be a good option, especially if Wattyyyy hasn't got £X,000 to pull out for purchase and import of decorative barricade horse

(I would love one myself, mind)

mistlethrush · 31/07/2017 14:17

THe owners should get served with an Enforcement Notice and this would relate to the property so that, even if the property was sold, the works would still need to be carried out.

MadamePomfrey · 31/07/2017 14:19

@teabagsrus didn't mean you should delete I know lots of us are probably wondering exactly the same things. I was just worried if the thread became about what might happen it may no longer be helpful to the op. Sorry if that came across wrong.

gingergenius · 31/07/2017 14:19

@teabagsrus there are so many planning issues there that it would never reach exchange!

SchadenfreudePersonified · 31/07/2017 14:19

Miss Jolly, along with Army Dad, are two of the legendary heroes of MN Babooshka. I haven't got time to dig out the threads, but I'm pretty sure that they are both parking threads of different types from what I remember.

Miss Jolly even gave us one of our favourite catchphrases - "Now bugger off! And good day to you!"

Mummyoflittledragon · 31/07/2017 14:20

Lapdance
I stand corrected. It's all coming back to me. The pink cock drawings.

diddl · 31/07/2017 14:20

OP, did you tell planning that they were there?

PrancerForHoney · 31/07/2017 14:20

Jesus, I go off to do an online food shop and all hell breaks loose with the Cunty Fucky Neighbours Builders!

I'm now imagining them as the Three Stooges.

And Newdaddie as Blofeld.

What are the laws re recording via cctv on private property? I know the camera must only face onto your property but do you also need to put up signs regarding recording?

Bellasmummy1980 · 31/07/2017 14:23

If this was my garden, whilst waiting for cheeky fucking fuckers to appear, i would be sunbathing topless and having numerous garden partys/bbqs/coffee mornings!! Id be inclined to write 'keep out of MY garden' with lipstick on their patio doors and padlock the handles! Just cant believe that there are either a) that effing stupid or b) that effin cheeky ....either way, this would be WAR! Angry

SchadenfreudePersonified · 31/07/2017 14:23

I will bring duty-free bubbles and those giant Toblerones

Do you have the white Toblerone Lou?
They're my favourite!

shakingmyhead1 · 31/07/2017 14:28

thanx SchadenfreudePersonified
it seemed like the cheapest, fastest and easiest way to secure the doors with out touching them and still be able to remove if and when Watt gives written permission to the repair agents to be on her land for short periods of time, and its something that would also be easy to dispose of once she no longer has a need for it

SchadenfreudePersonified · 31/07/2017 14:29

and you could link us all to the live stream so we could watch it on your behalf

24 hour surveillance!

YES!!!

Poor man is running a business while keeping an eye on a flat across the road!

And probably his business has octupled as local MNers, recognising the sigs, have started shopping there.

oh and its something that a single woman can do by her self very quickly with no power tools and no heavy lifting ( not that Watt or any women are incapable of any of that )
