Oh ohhh ohh my former neighbours were property developers who claimed to specialise in old and listed buildings. Their MO is buy property, live in it for a while, do work on the property and move on quickly so they don't have to pay capital gains tax on the renovation projects.

Despite their claims they have no sense of history in the buildings. They ripped the heart out of the cottage next to us. Replaced wooden sash windows with plastic windows, took out the chimneys and chimney pots, added upvc facias etc. They've failed to comply with planning permission. They've just moved in to their next property. They are Hungarian if that makes a difference.

I wonder where they went?

Someone by me applied for planning to build a garage (in Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and proceeded to build a small house. This was reported to enforcement who said it had to come down. Owner has reapplied for planning umpteen times, tried every combination & permutation going, ,has had it refused every time. Three years later the building is still there, in all it's half-finished glory.

Didn't the OP said the kitchen has been done too? Maybe they are getting all of the messy work out of the way before they move in?

Yes, guilty as charged. @Faithinthesound has added the list of characters. PM me with a trello user if you want to join the editing team or need a link to join it.

Useful for a range of shared projects - not so much at work in my case as we can't put client related activities on it (external hosting) but for non-client side projects at work, home projects and stuff for some voluntary groups. (You can also link it to Slack)

Also recommended when you have a long todo list on a Saturday and lack motivation to start it :)
