To ask which dress is nicer for a wedding guest (pic included)

Unfortunately my chosen dress didn't arrive on time so I'm having to make do with what I have in already.

These are the best two options. Are either suitable? Which is the best of the two?

The pics are a bit rubbish I know so it is hard to tell. But based on the pics.

I'm 25, 5ft7 (5ft11 which chosen heels on) and I'm a size 12.

I prefer the second.

WorraLiberty · 28/07/2017 16:00

The second one (grey/flowers).

FruBayerischOla · 28/07/2017 16:01

I 'third' the second dress!

The second one is better as it's smarter but the photos are so dark it's really hard to see!

Muzallinaaa · 28/07/2017 16:03

Thanks for the replies.

I wouldn't say I'm crazy about either but I don't have time to buy anything else now.

Yeah, the second one is best. For a wedding anyway. Smile

peachgreen · 28/07/2017 16:03

Definitely the second, based on the links. I'm sure someone was on a few weeks ago asking about wearing that to a wedding (let's hope it's not the same wedding!).

Icklepickle101 · 28/07/2017 16:03

Second is lovely

Muzallinaaa · 28/07/2017 16:04

My room is really bright. No idea why the pics are so dark.

It's not going to be a very formal wedding.

Second one. Massively more so.

MommaGee · 28/07/2017 16:04

Second

kiwiblue · 28/07/2017 16:05

Second one is nice!

HipsterHunter · 28/07/2017 16:05

@Muzallinaaa you look stunning in the second one BTW

EJREsMum · 28/07/2017 16:06

SECOND!! its lovely might even purchase it myself. Ty for the link Grin

Loyly · 28/07/2017 16:08

Second one.

Muzallinaaa · 28/07/2017 16:09

Ah I'm glad I asked now.
The pics don't do the second one justice though! It's very smart in reality but a little shorter than I'd wear for a wedding.

I just feel a bit like a tent in the second one. It's quite 'flowy'

The silk Fred one. Will look like you've made loads more effort but it's not too formal.

Sparkletastic · 28/07/2017 16:12

The second one by a country mile. Looks classy. First one is too short for a wedding.

tangledup123 · 28/07/2017 16:17

Second dress is nicer and more wedding-y.

Livedandlearned · 28/07/2017 16:18

Second dress definitely, it's really nice

peachgreen · 28/07/2017 16:20

It's gorgeous, and it looks lovely on from what we can see - curse these cameras. Have a fab time!

Dizzywhore · 28/07/2017 16:21

I'm not keen on full length/maxi dresses at wedding.
The first picture is really dark but from what I can see that dress looks nice x
