To ask which dress is nicer for a wedding guest (pic included)

Unfortunately my chosen dress didn't arrive on time so I'm having to make do with what I have in already.

These are the best two options. Are either suitable? Which is the best of the two?

The pics are a bit rubbish I know so it is hard to tell. But based on the pics.

I'm 25, 5ft7 (5ft11 which chosen heels on) and I'm a size 12.

the second

whippetwoman · 28/07/2017 16:44

I like the first one more Smile

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 28/07/2017 16:46

Second grey one.

Gemini69 · 28/07/2017 16:47

I too prefer the First one Flowers

BackforGood · 28/07/2017 16:52

I agree with (almost) everyone else, I prefer the grey / longer one. Odd, as I'm not generally a fan of maxi dresses for a wedding, but it looks a lot more elegant than the first, for a wedding . Smile

NaymeChaynge · 28/07/2017 16:58

Both look good but for a wedding I prefer the second one- looks classier.

CoughLaughFart · 28/07/2017 17:02

The second. The first is a perfectly nice dress, but too casual for a wedding.

needsomesunshineandwine · 28/07/2017 17:25

2nd 🙂

TakeThatFuckingDressOffNow · 28/07/2017 21:08

2nd one! But you look lovely in both! 👍🏼

Lobsterquadrille2 · 28/07/2017 21:44

I really like the first one - with heels, hair up and a small clutch bag, I think it would look more tailored than the maxi dress - which to me looks more casual and summer holiday-ish.

Gwenethgryn · 28/07/2017 21:47

Definitely number 2 for a wedding :-)

WildCherryBlossom · 29/07/2017 03:24

They are both pretty but I would go with the second. Looks really lovely on you.

PassedTheMoronTest · 29/07/2017 03:58

I like the first one, it looks really nice on you.

justilou1 · 29/07/2017 05:27

I like them both, but think the second has the edge. (Also, I love the colour!)

LoniceraJaponica · 29/07/2017 05:39

Another vote for the second one. It is so much nicer, and more flattering on you.

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 29/07/2017 06:04

Second one. I'd also prefer it if it wasn't a maxi dress but I think the first one is too short, even for a "not very formal" wedding, and the second dress seems to suit you better in your photos.

kateandme · 29/07/2017 06:18

my comp wont let me see the photos you've posted.but from the link they are both very beautiful.stunning you could look in both.and so you choose.you choose which you feel best in because then it will stunning and youll feel the most comfy so therefore shine :D.both can do this so go with what you love.you no which one.the one you look at now and in your chest go "yum yeh your the one"

Bue · 29/07/2017 06:20

Definitely the second one

featheryfancy · 29/07/2017 06:32

Definitely 2, 1 looks more like a daytime summer dress

annandale · 29/07/2017 06:49

I'd say the second too, but would also put hair up and a few jewels. Hope you have a lovely time.

mistermagpie · 29/07/2017 06:52

Second. First is too short and casual.
