To think that there should be laws about leggings?

Just reading to my DD in the library. Mum with similar aged daughter is wearing black leggings. I say black but in fact they are closer to a little bit opaque, only a little mind. She is not wearing underwear. She is basically naked from the waist down, sitting four feet from me with her legs open whilst her dd sits on the floor listening to her read. I'm not even sure that they are leggings, they might be tights, they certainly couldn't be any tighter. I feel like I am being presented with a view that should be reserved for gynecologists, midwives and lovers.

I do t get the hate with leggings I really don't.
I also don't see why people feel the need to stare at women's crotches, it's not eye level.
Do people do this to men to see if they can see the outline of their cocks?

The thing which should be outlawed is topless men anywhere other han on their own private property.

Probably should let this go but my comment about affording clothes was more about the leggings than knickers. I have noticed that cheap leggings do go see through when they stretch and find that spending more is a wiser investment.
Hey ho I do tend to wear tunics with leggings since I prefer the look but wear them with a T shirt for zumba but I will now carefully assess front and rear views before next class 😉

Leggings with really short tops = awful unless you're at the gym or out jogging.

Leggings with a dress = bit tired and dated looking, but perfectly respectable.

Leggings with a long t-shirt = perfectly respectable casual dress for running to the shops, taking the kids to the park etc

Leggings with a long tunic - Can look really nice.

See through leggings with a short top = criminal offence.

Holiday over, jet lag gone and surprised at how many people commented on this- it must be more common than I thought.
emilybrontescorset- It WAS eye level, that was the problem. I don't care if someone wants to go commando, as long as I don't have to see it. Sitting knickerless, legs akimbo in the library not four feet from where I am reading to my daughter is not on in my book.
