To not want DH to go to to Thorpe Park because tbh im jealous?

I am almost 6 months pregnant (due Nov. 10)

DH and I have been invited to Thorpe Park next week. I have said there is no point in me going as I wont be able to do much apart from eat and sit on the fake beach. But DH still wants to go. I really want to be ok with him going but at the same time I am VERY VERY jealous. I love theme parks and thrill rides. I live for them. I cant wait to be able to go on them again and one day we can take Daniel too. I know pregnancy doesnt last forever and I would rather have our baby than a one day fun experience. But it still hurts to see other people having fun when you are not

Should I ask him nicely not to go or should I just bite my tounge and say fuck it? Its either I upset DH or I upset myself? Aibu?

This is such an odd thread.

Witsender · 24/07/2017 21:23

And you can buy unpasteurised milk direct from the farm if they are signed off for it.

MummyMiddleton · 24/07/2017 21:23

Witsender

Why?

You can be in it together all you like but if you're both clueless then poor Daniel is still buggered isn't he!

ImAFurchester · 24/07/2017 21:24

Yep, weirdest thread I've ever seen on here.

Leaspr · 24/07/2017 21:25

But it's been 6 months already and you still seem unaware/unsure on basics Hmm
If you are going to breastfeed there will be things you can't eat post-pregnancy too. Please just read up as much as you can. No one is expecting you to 'be perfect' and if you are going to come here mainly for advice on 'the right way to parent' then you are going to be bombarded with opinions on every possible way. It needs to be about what suits you as parents though. My way of parenting might not work at all for you and in no way would I say that my way is the perfect way! Not that I don't believe that I'm a good mother who does their very best.

NoCapes · 24/07/2017 21:26

OP is your first name Sharon?

MrsPringles · 24/07/2017 21:27

Oh god. This brings back painful memories from your other thread. OP, what would super Nanny do in this situation?
Confused

ImAFurchester · 24/07/2017 21:27

If you are going to breastfeed there will be things you can't eat post-pregnancy too.

Eh?

Spookle · 24/07/2017 21:28

OP do you have a cat called Spud? Hmm

Aquathest · 24/07/2017 21:28

Are expectant mothers still given Emma's Diary by midwives?

Mummy Middleton - sounds like you could do with a companion resource like this...

fruityb · 24/07/2017 21:32

I was given Emma's diary last year.

Leaspr · 24/07/2017 21:32

I'm not aware of whether she is going to breastfeed or not but there are certain things that you are advised to avoid as fair as I am aware anyway!

EggysMom · 24/07/2017 21:33

We have 3 months to make ourselves perfect

That's what I thought. And then gave birth at 29 weeks.

ImAFurchester · 24/07/2017 21:34

Don't recall being told to avoid any foods while breastfeeding. Only certain medications.

Very little of anything passes through to your milk.

Iloveanimals · 24/07/2017 21:41

Hey OP maybe all three of you could do reenactments of the games!?? Very popular thing now! Make the game real to the kids, that's the way to make them love games :) also great for drama lessons. You could live in a world of virtual reality... :)

Leaspr · 24/07/2017 21:42

ImAFurchester I agree that it will only be trace amounts but it is possible that it is enough to make the baby unwell if they have an allergy to anything. Not sure how often this happens though and I by no means claim to be an expert! Smile

Flushot · 24/07/2017 21:42

I feel like Daniel is already sick of this shit

Lol!

PollytheDolly · 24/07/2017 21:44

I made a mine craft cake for my DS on his 16th birthday.

I made a Thomas the Tank for his 1st.

EggysMom · 24/07/2017 21:46

OP, are you aware that alongside certain foods that you shouldn't have whilst pregnant or breastfeeding, there are also certain drugs you shouldn't have, like ibuprofen?

StickThatInYourPipe · 24/07/2017 21:50

I feel like Daniel is already sick of this shit

Agreed!

d270r0 · 24/07/2017 21:52

Oh op... Your making yourself sound a lot worse, get away from the keyboard! Remember, make no parenting plans until baby is here, all plans go out the window.

ImAFurchester · 24/07/2017 21:57

Op is off playing minecraft now
