To not want DH to go to to Thorpe Park because tbh im jealous?

I am almost 6 months pregnant (due Nov. 10)

DH and I have been invited to Thorpe Park next week. I have said there is no point in me going as I wont be able to do much apart from eat and sit on the fake beach. But DH still wants to go. I really want to be ok with him going but at the same time I am VERY VERY jealous. I love theme parks and thrill rides. I live for them. I cant wait to be able to go on them again and one day we can take Daniel too. I know pregnancy doesnt last forever and I would rather have our baby than a one day fun experience. But it still hurts to see other people having fun when you are not

Should I ask him nicely not to go or should I just bite my tounge and say fuck it? Its either I upset DH or I upset myself? Aibu?

Please someone play peekaboo with the OP and distract her from posting such drivel.... For Daniels sake.

Okay OP. On a different note, since you've not read your pregnancy leaflets, have you prepared for the birth and read up on that at all? Because if you're nearly 6 months it's something you need to start thinking about.

Xeneth88 · 24/07/2017 20:41

Are you not?

MummyMiddleton · 24/07/2017 20:41

ProudBadMum

Im not a troll or a baby. Im just a first time parent with a very ballsy personality that I was born with

We are hopefully having a water birth. Me and DH will be in the pool and we have decided to have no one else there except the midwives. Just the parents and the baby.

Op for some perspective. Which is something I think you're badly in need of. I'm an avid gamer/nerd. I have only recently got back into my hobbies of gaming and fanfiction writing again. My DSes are 3 and 5.

Spookle · 24/07/2017 20:44

Is this a reverse OP? Are you actually DaddyMiddleton?

CheshireChat · 24/07/2017 20:45

If you're BF that's not entirely true...

RestlessTraveller · 24/07/2017 20:46

Oh fuck..... it's killing me....I'm going to have to say it....

I take it spelling and grammar weren't an important part of your BTec? How can you run a business that sells ornaments and not even know how to spell it?

I'm sorry. I went there. I had to. Flame away, I feel better.

MummyMiddleton · 24/07/2017 20:46

But we intend to immerse Daniel in our culture. We are taking him to hang out at convensions with our friends as soon as we can. Costumes, hats, reading him to sleep with minecraft guides. This isnt just a past time, its our culture

Ballsy? Er okay if that's how you describe yourself.

I think this thread is going exactly how you wanted it to go.

Sirzy · 24/07/2017 20:48

Again what if he doesn't want to be part of your "culture"? What if he grows up resenting being dragged around conventions?

KitKat1985 · 24/07/2017 20:48

Okay that's fine. Were you thinking of having a water birth at home or in hospital? Have you thought about what pain relief options you would prefer if you need it, and about what you want to do about vitamin K etc once the baby is born?

Hudson10 · 24/07/2017 20:48

What exactly is this thread about? It makes absolutely zero sense whatsoever.

ImAFurchester · 24/07/2017 20:48

Costumes, hats, reading him to sleep with minecraft guides

GrinGrinGrin

Come off it op.

PollytheDolly · 24/07/2017 20:49

reading him to sleep with minecraft guides.

Actually, that's genius. Guaranteed to send Daniel into a deep sleep.

MummyMiddleton · 24/07/2017 20:49

Restless

I dont make the signs or labels. My tablet doesnt have a spell check either. Not everyone is amazing at spelling, doesnt mean you are not clever. I know people who suck at spelling but can do masters degree level maths

This can't be for real!? Confused Haha! I'm so confused!
What happens if your child just happens to have a mind of his own and this mind of his doesn't like gaming!?

TheHeraldOfAndraste · 24/07/2017 20:51

And I wish the DSes liked Bioware, Star Wars and DC as much as I do. But they are resolutely Marvel and Despicable me fans. Its almost as if Shock ....they're people in their own right with their own likes and dislikes.

MummyMiddleton · 24/07/2017 20:52

KitKat

In the hospital. I am choosing to try without epidural. We will definately be giving him the vit k. Its one of the only times in your life when you can get some vit k, its very rare.
