So, I wouldn't put this on my car (also breastfed 2 kids). But lets play devil's advocate here.

The idea of these stickers is that if there is a bad accident, you would want emergency services to know a small baby was on board, so the first priority is to find a baby.

In that situation, come to think of it, it might be useful to know if a baby is breastfed (so very small and possibly will have difficulty feeding from a bottle).

There have been accidents when the parents were in the front seats and have been seriously hurt or killed, while the baby in the very safe car seat at the back had little if any injury. In that situation, there might be no one about to explain that the baby wasn't used to having a bottle etc., and this would be important information for a tiny baby.

On the other hand, this is not a very likely this to happen, thank God.

I wouldn't assume that this was someone with whom I could not be friends.

But I would wonder whether it was a first baby Grin

You know that's a woman with a blog. You know quinoa will feature heavily.

I love the match the sticker to the twat game. Def an App in there somewhere.

Spudlet · 23/07/2017 12:24

I would be so, so tempted to stick a post-it to her car saying, 'Well done, but nobody cares'. Because, seriously, who cares that much? And I speak as one who breastfed! Nobody. Cares.

And while we're on the subject, no I am not 'wearing' ds, he is a person, to an accessory. I am using a sling which is a very practical and useful bit of kit, but not something that makes me a better mother than my mate with her pram.

Fookin 'ell 🙄

Squirmy65ghyg · 23/07/2017 12:25

Ugh. Ugggh. Ugh. Reminds me of an acquaintances FB page. What does she want, a fucking medal?

herecomesthsun · 23/07/2017 12:25

Cross post sorry

justilou · 23/07/2017 12:25

What the fucking fuck??? When did that become a thing?

NicolasFlamel · 23/07/2017 12:25

Quinoa and probably kale. Also everything made from breastmilk. Moisturiser, soap, salad dressing..

IHateUncleJamie · 23/07/2017 12:26

cowgirls ditto. "Teenager (who was breastfed, just saying) on board" 😂😂

My daughter would refuse to get in my car with such a twattish sticker displayed.

YANBU.

Spudlet · 23/07/2017 12:26

not an accessory. I swear I am going to hunt the person who programmed autocorrect down one day...

paddypants13 · 23/07/2017 12:26

I was an ebf baby, I shall get one for my car immediately!

I shall also get one that says "two formula fed babies on board otherwise they'd have starved".

ConfusedHmm

Dumdedumdedum · 23/07/2017 12:27

Surely it's - erm - tongue in cheek? Grin

paxillin · 23/07/2017 12:28

You know that's a woman with a blog. Grin

Only1scoop · 23/07/2017 12:29

Is that symbol from a 'group'

supersop60 · 23/07/2017 12:29

Unless it means that the baby is being fed whilst in the car........Mind boggled.

manglethedangle · 23/07/2017 12:32

Neither could I. And I'm still breastfeeding my 18mo.

IrritatedUser1960 · 23/07/2017 12:33

That is ridiculous, too much information for a car sticker.
What does it even mean? How is it relevant to a car? WTF!

rabbitcakes · 23/07/2017 12:33

Near me a woman has these on her car:

www.cafepress.co.uk/+co-sleeping+stickers

HarrietSchulenberg · 23/07/2017 12:33

Emergency Services do not take any notice of stupid little stickers as they're too busy trying to save lives. Baby on Board stickers are pointless if the baby wasn't on board in the first place, breastfed by wannabe-goddeses or not.

That car sticker is nothing more than a self-congratulatory pat on the back and I would assume the owner is an unpleasantly smug twat. I managed to BF three children for varying lengths of time between 2 wks and 2 yrs, and I cloth nappied 'em while I was at it, but I never felt the need for a car sticker to proclaim my worthiness.

ThePinkOcelot · 23/07/2017 12:34

I breastfed both of mine, and I'm all for it, but that is SHITE!!

Forwardsforwards · 23/07/2017 12:35

id be driving behind that person thinking

" yup, thats where i belong, in your wake. I'm not worthy"

Hmm
RockyBird · 23/07/2017 12:36

I don't appreciate people taking photos of my car and posting them online Angry

Supersoaryflappypigeon · 23/07/2017 12:36

Only1scoop · 23/07/2017 12:37

Ssshhh me tooGrin

Supersoaryflappypigeon · 23/07/2017 12:37

Couldn't have planned that better if I'd tried 😂

WorraLiberty · 23/07/2017 12:37

To the people saying the emergency services would want to know there's a baby in the car, in the event of an accident...

They don't take a blind bit of notice of window stickers. They're professional people who are guided by their extensive training - not a bit of plastic from Halfords.

Quite apart from anything, who removes the sticker every time they remove the baby from the car? Confused

The sticker does not indicate there's actually a baby on board, every time the car is on the road.
