Just watched Kushner's speech outside the WH. He is very weird. He looks like a 12 year old with his first suit on and his hair plastered down and speaks not with authority.

Kushner does seem quite out of place, almost juvenile.

I had the oddest sensation watching it. Here we have a person as close to the president as anyone, standing in the White House grounds saying - I did not collude with Russia. That seemed unimaginable months ago. I mean, I imagined the Trump presidency to be terrible but not quite this bad and so quickly.

The other odd sensation - that clip of Nixon - there will be no whitewash in the White House, just rung in my ears. I know the comparison to Nixon is old hat but this brought it sharply into focus for me.
