Speaking of hate and wife. I watched an interview with Marla when they were still married and then the speech his "Art of the deal" writer gave at Oxford.
She claimed then that she encouraged him to value more his spiritual side. But, as the writer said, he is all about appearances and will have hated it. Melania sounds more like the woman to him, but it does look like it's still about appearances. It strikes me that when he looks at his children he looks somewhat perplexed and surprised. It's not a look of love, for me.

He only cares about himself. His children are 'fruit of his loins' = Him.

Junior, Manafort and Kushner are to testify before the Senate Intel Committee next week I think. As the piece specifically mentions Kushner going for closed session, I'm assuming that Junior and Manafort are in open session?

I have two points to add to it. Mueller, as a Beltway insider and a vastly qualified investigator, knew what was coming. And why should he take on the job?

If my new 'boss' had made those remarks about me, I'd be torn between polishing my CV and hiring a taster.

And back to scaramucci. When you explicitly state the reason you will agree with whatever decision the president makes because that's your job, it makes it seem like you're trying to distance yourself from sharing the same convictions. It doesn't engender confidence or credibility.

But more pressing: may a touch more foundation would help?

They may rather push their Senators not to repeal Obamacare if the alternative is much worse (as any Republican bill will).
