To ask how often do you clean these?

How often do you mop floors? Clean out fridge? Wipe skirting boards? Hoover stairs? Clean out cupboards? Wipe down outside kitchen cupboard doors?

Weekly apart from skirting boards and cleaning out cupboards, they probably aren't done enough.

I don't think I've ever wiped a skirting board - I would if something got spilled on one I guess 😄
So what does it achieve - looking at ours now,we've been in the house 10 years,they look clean...a trifle dusty but I'll suck that off when I Hoover...

I don't see the point in routinely doing things every week/month etc. People are just making work for themselves IMO.
Skirting boards get cleaned when they're obviously dirty and usually it's just a spot clean not the whole lot, same with everything else fridge etc. Floors may need mopping every day, or sometimes OK for weeks with just hoovering.

The stairs and skirting boards get cleaned when I Hoover once a week. I have a brush attachment on the hoover which is excellent at dusting.

The rest gets done rarely. Clean the fridge once a year maybe, it gets a wipe and food thrown out when the food shop arrives. Cupboards get wiped if I notice fingerprints.
