@muckypup73 part of me thinks they really don't think it's the end and it will all be ok.

And they are clearly being told to get it there by their 'PR' advisors. I assume the rally today was organised by the 'pastor' guy.

How those people can see the photos of the poor little soul and say he is plump and growing.

They must all be so blind to the fact that he looks so very ill :(

TheFairyCaravan · 09/07/2017 21:50

They are so thick. Healthy and thriving? Jesus wept!

Butterymuffin · 09/07/2017 21:51

Stop those people need to look up 'thriving' in the dictionary.

3littlebadgers Flowers So sorry about your daughter.

Mamabear14 · 09/07/2017 21:52

Badgers, your post made me well up. I am so very sorry for the loss of your girl, you write so beautifully about her.

AlabamaShakes · 09/07/2017 21:53

The Aunt is pushing the merchandise and urging people to keep donating..... if they are honestly saying all the money is going to be donated to a charity, why not ask people to donate direct to the said charity and link to the donation page? The whole thing stinks.

As for that Pastor, he looks full of glee. Makes me bloody sick

Grrrrrsnarl · 09/07/2017 21:53

Yes I saw that the money that is being requested is going straight into their bank account.
I know crowdfunding can take a percentage of the takings, but I wonder how much is actually being donated.

The are also pictures of tomorrow's post with sales from the shop

Puzzledandpissedoff · 09/07/2017 21:56

I think they said if the money couldn't be used for Charlie's treatment, then they would donate it to a mito charity

You're correct, they did. Which is at least a bit of good news, in that the money will genuinely do some good

MidnightAura · 09/07/2017 21:57

3littlebadgers I'm so sorry for your loss.

The merchandise shop makes me sick to my stomach if I'm honest. Is there any need for baby clothes! Baby bottles etc?

Margaret I'm not quite sure which comment you're referring to but there are a number of people who have said that they've been in that situation - some with far sadder outcomes than others - but I don't recall anyone saying that when faced with the prospect of a child's death all rational thought goes out of the window. Numbness yes, and a feeling of not being quite there, but not the sort of behaviour these parents are exhibiting. Their reaction is crazed.

thatdearoctopus · 09/07/2017 21:58

I cannot read another thing on that CA facebook page.

Talk about jumping on a bandwagon. Someone has just said that the reason Charlie can't be taken to the US is because GOSH have kidnapped him and are holding him hostage. I mean, really????!!!

Stopnamechanging · 09/07/2017 21:58

Connie has just posted underneath the comments on my last screenshot. She clearly needs firm guidance from people who aren't taking advantage of her.

We lost our little Helen at GOSH, a long time ago now and sadly, she probably would be alive in more advanced times but I have nothing but admiration for GOSH and as a fellow medical professional, am thinking of the staff and the amount of abuse that is being thrown at them.

It's nothing less than bullying and mob rule.

muckypup73 · 09/07/2017 21:58

MargaretTwatyer, are you here again???? you seem topop up have your say and bugger off when people offer advice and telling you how they feel, you done the same this morning,. and you have also been on the donation to Gosh thread spouting too, but you not actually listen to what people are saying, do you?

Ellie56 · 09/07/2017 22:01

According to CA
"There will be a Show of Support tomorrow afternoon at 1pm outside the Royal Courts of Justice before the final hearing that will determine if Charlie will be able to receive treatment.
The TRUTH must be heard. blah blah

Apparently they are going to show the court they will not be silenced. Hmm

thatdearoctopus · 09/07/2017 22:01

I haven't seen any collection of people protesting/supporting/demonstrating/whatever with more than about a dozen people there. Even outside GOSH today, most were reporters with massive camera lenses. The blue brigade numbered about 10.

So these 350,000 people who signed the petition must all have had more pressing things to do this weekend.

muckypup73 · 09/07/2017 22:02

And then she will dissapear and come back around 10 pages later with the same drivel.

Stopnamechanging · 09/07/2017 22:02

Letting off balloons too, lets kill some wildlife in his name for good measure.Angry

JaneEyre70 · 09/07/2017 22:03

I don't know if it was on here or somewhere else I read it but it seems that tomorrow is a preliminary hearing and another is scheduled for Thursday. So poor Charlie is still left in misery even longer so mum and dad can wave banners and court the media for 4 more days. I muted them when they came on the news, I just can't listen to their shit anymore. Today went so far over the line of decency, I'm beyond words. Poor poor darling little Charlie, the forgotten centre of all of this xx

ChattyLion · 09/07/2017 22:05

Flowers badgers take care. Flowers those posting and reading who have also lost children. So sorry for your loss.

GabsAlot · 09/07/2017 22:06

how can thy hand in a petition stating gosh want to kill him?

it absurd

and where do they get hes not brain damagd from it makes no sense

thatdearoctopus · 09/07/2017 22:06

Apparently they are going to show the court they will not be silenced.

Yeah, coz that's how the courts work. Hmm Who ARE these people?

Rhubarbginisnotasin · 09/07/2017 22:07

I honestly don't think anybody could have the slightest idea how they would react in this situation and I think it would be very normal for rationality to disappear completely

I know how I would react. Ive thought about it often enough.

thatdearoctopus · 09/07/2017 22:08

Poor poor darling little Charlie, the forgotten centre of all of this

Actually, I don't think he's forgotten. I don't doubt they mean well, they're just hopelessly misguided. (and I mean CA, although I sadly think I now mean his parents too)

goodbyestranger · 09/07/2017 22:08

There are frequently small groups of protesters outside the RCJ no-one takes any notice of them and the judges go in the back entrance so aren't bothered at all.

Rhubarbginisnotasin · 09/07/2017 22:08
