To let Dd wear a suit ?

All her cousins will be in dress. She's girly in the way that she likes to have her eyebrows dimensions ,nails painted and she would usually wear a dress if she had to .

Aibu to dash out last minute and find a suit for Dsisters wedding ?

(Where can I get one btw,she likes one like cara delavigne. Can only find low cut ones that are worn without a shirt )

To let Dd wear a suit ?

Just go up to her and demand the key. Tell her you're happy to go alone but if she wants to accompany you then she needs to go now.

Don't let this drag in any longer, it's becoming almost pointless that your DD gets changed at this rate

user1457213512 · 08/07/2017 18:05

That's awful :( your poor daughter.

I'd still love to see the outfits. Bet she looked great.

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 08/07/2017 18:05

Just demand the key from her. Your daughter can wear whatever she wants now.

MimiSunshine · 08/07/2017 18:10

I will say though that I think you sent her with too many options. I can imagine the other bridesmaids thinking WTF? When she turned up with practically a whole wardrobe to try on.

And when asked "which do you think is most suitable / maid of honour like?" They replied with "well none really" if they were all in more atypical bridesmaid dresses.

However that doesn't excuse any mean behaviour that may have been carried out against your daughter and I hope she's getting changed now and feeling fab

DoYouWantABourbon · 08/07/2017 18:46

I'm sure the bridesmaid who 'Stepped up' did so very reluctantly Hmm. What a bunch of cows to think they know better than the bride!

Your DD sounds lovely tho and I hope she's not upset for long.

UnicornsShitGlitter · 08/07/2017 18:46

What a bunch of bitches!

Sparklingbrook · 08/07/2017 18:55

This is all getting a bit outing isn't it?

Cagliostro · 08/07/2017 19:00

My DSDs were my bridesmaids and one wore a dress, the other didn't like dresses and chose smart trousers, shirt and waistcoat :) both looked amazing and I couldn't have been prouder.

Cagliostro · 08/07/2017 19:01

Whoa, sorry I clearly missed the developments since I only looked at the first page. Your poor DD :(

lougle · 08/07/2017 19:10

Ooh no Sad

Trills · 08/07/2017 19:41

Who would do that?

DanceMam · 08/07/2017 20:17

So Dd has changed into her favourite suit and has received lots of lovely comments . I will post a pic when we're home . Party doesn't stop till mindnight !

Dd is happy she got to wear her outfit and the bride loves it

I am so shocked that she was sent to run errands because the other bridesmaids did not like her outfit.

Hope she didn't miss too much.

MineKraftCheese · 08/07/2017 20:19

So happy about the latest update! Wine

GlitteryFluff · 08/07/2017 20:28

Those bridesmaids sound like nasty children.
Glad your dd is finally wearing what she wants.

Fletchasaurus · 08/07/2017 20:36

PLEASE make sure you get a beautiful, properly posed photo of your DD and the bride together so she has the REAL 'maid of honor with the bride' photograph to keep. Also, make sure those nasty little bitches know that your DD was and STILL IS the maid of honour, regardless of what they may have said!

MyLittlePickleBoo · 08/07/2017 22:33

Was your DD still acknowledged as MoH in the speeches at least, OP?

Gileswithachainsaw · 08/07/2017 22:40

Will look forward to seeing the picture Smile

DanceMam · 08/07/2017 22:43

Bride made a big fuss of her in the speech and Dd did her MoH speech and gave some entertainment too !!

If she will feel more comfortable in a suit let her wear one. I bet she will look lovely

DragonNoodleCake · 08/07/2017 23:24

Just saw that you updated - chuffed for your DD. If she felt good I bet she looked great
