All her cousins will be in dress. She's girly in the way that she likes to have her eyebrows dimensions ,nails painted and she would usually wear a dress if she had to .

Aibu to dash out last minute and find a suit for Dsisters wedding ?

(Where can I get one btw,she likes one like cara delavigne. Can only find low cut ones that are worn without a shirt )

I'd go for patent brogues or ballet flats.

If you can't find a suit in the ladies/girls sections, then look in the mens and pick out a skinny cut. It'll probably work ok as your DD is petite.

H&M have a white tuxedo with a black lapel. Would the bride go for that? I know wearing white can be wrong.

Oh right. I have no clue about bridesmaids. I always thought the Maid/Matron of Honour/Chief Bridesmaid was married for some reason, no idea about virgins . I didn't have any bridesmaids, I thought it was pointless.

Not what I've ever heard, although I'd have to admit I'm no wedding expert. I've always understood a maid of honour to be a married woman and a bridesmaid to be unmarried.

I wonder how OP got on? Wedding must be under way or over by now. Hope we get an update.

Not a happy ending to this thread .

Ended up buying 4 different suit outfits/ combinations and shoes (Dd loved them all and I thought she looked fab) and 6 different dress as well as trying to take the original dress to be altered ( no luck anywhere) . So we got as many options as we could so that we could decide on one and return the others.

Sent Dd off with all the clothes and shoes to show the others as the bridesmaids weregetting hair and make up done with the bride and traveling separately . Got to the wedding and no sign of DD , only to be told by another bridesmaid who had stepped up and taken the role of maid of honour that none of the outfits looked right.

Dsis (bride) and I confused as to wear Dd actually was only to find her in leggings and a top running errands for everyone 'behind the scenes',not even sitting with the guests .

I'm fuming . We travelled far to be here and Dd was delighted to be maid of honour. Now I have an upset Dd and the bride was also upset that the older bridesmaids did this to Dd and didn't even let the bride know .

Anyone still interested to see the lovely outfits I got Dd when I get home ?

Sorry but to be honest it is a little unreasonable to expect the others in the middle of trying to get ready to get involved in your daughter trying on 10 different outfits and picking one. I'm sorry she seems to have missed out but I don't think arriving with huge selection of outfits at the last minute was particularly sensible.

Dd was in tears . There was one outfit she loved and wanted to wear . All the outfits were locked in the older bridesmaids room so Dd was stuck in leggings . They're all partying now,I'm sitting here with Dd waiting for the bridesmaid to give me her hotel key/card.
