AlternativeTentacle · 04/07/2017 22:01

And this is worth a classics entry all by itself.

PrincessFiorimonde · 04/07/2017 22:20

Glad you got your account/user name back, OP.

mermaidsandunicorns · 04/07/2017 22:33

Speaking of troll threads does anyone know what happened to the thread where the OP found someone living in the attic it's disappeared off my watch list

Mudpup · 04/07/2017 22:34

I am just thinking I must be seen as a shit parent as I have been a SAHM since October 2015 and no one has so much as hinted I should take care of their DCs!

LexieLulu · 04/07/2017 22:44

Will you be taking kids to school solo tomorrow? I'm excited for the playground update.

Ps what did she text you last night at 2am?

AndieNZ · 04/07/2017 22:46

I was wondering the same thing.. What did she say in her text at 2am!

ButtonMooooon · 04/07/2017 22:47

It's still on my watch list Mermaid

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 04/07/2017 22:50

Can't believe she's trying to make out that you OFFERED to take her children for 6w to save her money - no one is ever going to believe that, don't worry!!

SallyGardens · 04/07/2017 23:00

I'm sorry fam but I saw this on FB and instantly thought of your neighbours Grin

peukpokicuzo · 04/07/2017 23:15

Is it remotely possible that you have a lookalike mum at the school who genuinely offered, and who WORKzilla mistook for being you?

Catsize · 04/07/2017 23:15

Yeay! Power to the people.

Thank you MNHQ for reconsidering.

not at all awaiting contrite apology and admission of wrongdoing-

RubyRoseRing · 04/07/2017 23:19

l must have missed what MrNutjob does for WORK. l assume a nurse or a postman?

lf she does drop her children off on 17th, then you have to take them to her WORK. lf she's like this to you, fam, her colleagues must surely have got the measure of her by now. Welcome back, fam Smile.

justilou · 04/07/2017 23:37

You are my hero, Fam! I'd be getting mutual friend to drop a few comments in the school yard about how she'd been suckered into doing a "few favours" for this witch of a woman, to have it involuntarily turn into permanent childcare - that ends up costing her money.

Gemini69 · 04/07/2017 23:39

OMG.. I have literally spent the last hour or so catching up on this astounding but highly 'sorry OP' entertaining thread x 4...

Fabulous.. bloomin Fabulous xxx

Badweekjustgotworse · 04/07/2017 23:45

fam rises from the ashes of deletion and ban hammer famtasticphoenix for a name change possibly? (But not yet we wouldn't be able to skim for your updates about batshit tomorrow in the playground!)

PomBearWithAnOFRS · 05/07/2017 00:49

MNHQ did that post catsize - I think on thread 3 Grin

weaselwomble · 05/07/2017 01:42

This has got me through insomnia last night and a boring day today. Gripped.

DeadDoorpost · 05/07/2017 01:42

I may need to go through the 1st thread again as I think I missed some bits but other than that thanks for giving me something to read while I sit here bored waiting all day doing nothing.
Totally not placemarking after 3 full threads of ghosting...

Msqueen33 · 05/07/2017 04:09

There's some seriously entitled people out there! Good luck today Fam.

Skittlesandbeer · 05/07/2017 06:01

Has anyone during this epic thread done the maths on what monetary value of childcare this crazy woman was expecting for free?

I bet that figure would make a handy statement when fam finds herself defending her position to the school community next term (not that she should have to).

No friend asks for (or offers) 100's or 1000's of £ of free anything, do they? Might put a different perspective on it for some folk, and shows quickly who has earned themselves the crazy hat. Sheeeeesh!

Allthebestnamesareused · 05/07/2017 06:23

Skittles

6.30 - 2 = 7.50 hours. X2 children =15 hours per day x 30 days (6 weeks) = 450 hours

So even if £5 per hour = £2250

Plus any charge for food (breakfast and lunch and snacks)

Plus charge for activities.

OP could go to Disneyland too if she earned that!
