Ok so she sent me a few more messages about how they just assumed I knew what they needed and didn't think they needed to spell it out for me! Saying that they do not know how they are expected to pay for childcare that they hadn't budgeted for as they was relying on me to provide it. And I shouldn't of said I could help if I wasn't willing to do so.

I've not replied to any messages

I hope she's coming round to apologise for her self-entitled demanding texts, and of course you won't be doing any free childcare for her now. If she does turn up its probably to bully you into submitting to her will and giving over your holiday mornings to her.

She's blown it, even the Monday. Nobody speaks to you like that especially if they want a favour. But a favour never = a full summer holidays worth of childcare for anyone & she knows it, she's just taking the piss and trying to railroad you.

Brace yourself, you may have to boot her out of your house.

some background music for when she comes....

MumIsRunningAMarathon · 03/07/2017 20:04

CaveMum · 03/07/2017 20:04

I thought your post was aimed at me for a moment there @MrsChopper Grin

Bambamrubblesmum · 03/07/2017 20:04

'Face you, what are you 12? Grow up. The answer is no. It will always be no now due to your abusive texts. Don't bother coming round you'll only embarrass yourself. I'm blocking you now'.

Stickaforkinimdone · 03/07/2017 20:04

Now I'm no psych....but she sounds like she's got a raging personality disorder

CigarsofthePharoahs · 03/07/2017 20:04

I know people this cheeky exist. A good friend of mine has been taken advantage of by one recently.
It started as a play date. Then another the same day, following week. Then she was asked to take the child to an activity her child did and the parent would pick up after, except they didn't and my friend had to drop off the child.
Then it was "Actually, can you have him that afternoon every week?"
She said no! But knowing my friend, she said it very politely and the brass neck mum heard yes.
My friend received a phonecall from the school to ask why she'd not picked this child up as brass neck mum had said that's what was happening.
So my friend gave in.
Some while later she asked brass neck mum if she could not have the child one particular week as there was a school trip and her son would be tired.
"No, I can't get time off work."
Except, as it turned out, the dad had had the afternoon off work.
Shit has really hit the fan recently as my friend has fallen rather ill and simply can't cope with the arrangement any more.
Brass neck mum is apparently fuming. I guess she thinks my friends health is less important than free care for her child, who's behavior is becoming rather like his mothers.

RortyCrankle · 03/07/2017 20:04

This is not good enough - she's had an hour to eat dinner - I assume she's not at the Fat Duck eating one of Heston's 20 course tasting menus?

RuggerHug · 03/07/2017 20:05

MumIs why exactly....(please don't confirm my first thought)

wildthingsinthenight · 03/07/2017 20:05

Where is she??

stuntcamel · 03/07/2017 20:05

A 'few favours' in the holidays is minding the kids for the odd day at the last minute if there's an unexpected crisis or the usual childcare has fallen through.

Not several hours a day, every day, for weeks on end.

Unpaid.

That is what is known as 'taking the piss'.

Not placemarking, no, definitely not

URaflutteringcunt · 03/07/2017 20:05

Wow, that escalated. How do you expect her to pay for them? You don't expect anything, her kids aren't anything to do with you 😂 Love this WORK thing. she sounds a bit rough tbh OP.

TwinklePops · 03/07/2017 20:05

Fightthebear · 03/07/2017 20:07

No point attempting to sort this out cordially.

She's way too unpleasant for that.

DandelionWishes88 · 03/07/2017 20:07

What the hell she on? And what she eating an all you can eat buffet...do you think she'll turn up? Grin

TeacherPresent · 03/07/2017 20:07
