Ok so she sent me a few more messages about how they just assumed I knew what they needed and didn't think they needed to spell it out for me! Saying that they do not know how they are expected to pay for childcare that they hadn't budgeted for as they was relying on me to provide it. And I shouldn't of said I could help if I wasn't willing to do so.

I've not replied to any messages

How long does it take to eat after WORK ffs!

Giddyaunt18 · 03/07/2017 19:58

some people are just jaw droopingly cheeky. My mum had a friend that invited her and her family(5 of them) to stay for a week. My mum politely said no, that she couldn't put them up and was busy etc. Most people would get the hint. No, this woman said, " No bother, we'll sleep in our car outside your house!" Mum was floored! She wouldn't take no for an answer, think Mum had them for 2 days in the end, on her living room floor!

sunnydalegottobedone · 03/07/2017 19:58

Just caught up and oh my this is a new level of entitled. Stay strong and keep your ground, you do not want nor need friends like this.

60percentbanana · 03/07/2017 19:58

You could always give her the number of the local family information service - plenty of childminders will do early starts, and will still have space for a couple of older kids.

However it'll cost her (or at least round here it would cost her) about £250 a week for the pair due to the early starts. Probably goes some way to explaining why she is batshit - better to manipulate your goodwill than pay for someone to care for her kids!

Janthea it just means if you comment on a thread you can then find it again easily by clicking on the I'm On button

Msqueen33 · 03/07/2017 19:59

This is hilarious. I think a thread needs to be started immediately about entitled selfish gits. I've not come across any directly. The most is the woman who writes about how her ex is abusive all over Facebook and picks her kids up late everyday from school and mostly ends up dropping them off late.

This thread has brightened my day immensely. I hope the crazy cow turns up.

TinselTwins · 03/07/2017 19:59

I actually know someone like this, if I didn't I would think it was entirely made up bullshit. These people exist and they don't go down without a fight.

Yup, "mine" who has moved onto her latest victim friend (had to outsource to another year group this time) has her new bestie giving me evils and refusing to return a "hello" to me! She's obviously still furious that I started saying "no" to her.

I keep making a point of saying "hello" to new bestie.. I estimate that'll be no more than 3 more months before her lightbulb goes on like it has for all the rest of us, and her glares will turn into sheepish "hellos" back - then I'll know she knows and piss-taker will be on the hunt again!

luckylucky24 · 03/07/2017 19:59

She is an hour late now and wasting my life! Where the fuck is she?!

NeverEnoughSleep1 · 03/07/2017 19:59

Wow!! I started reading this morning can't believe the turn of events!! Stand your ground OP

MrsChopper · 03/07/2017 20:00

Do. Not. Cave!!!

Tamatoa · 03/07/2017 20:00

I hope WORKING hasn't tired out WORKzilla, I need her to turn up for the drama!

eggsandwich · 03/07/2017 20:00

Ask her if she has ever thought about a career change and become a childminder, as her current roll doesn't appear to be working.

DerelictWreck · 03/07/2017 20:00

Right OP I have to go wash my hair - I expect and full and explosive update when I get back with further plot twists!

VeryButchyRestingFace · 03/07/2017 20:00

This is soooo gonna Make the Mail. Brew

So even if she's not a MNetter and misses these threads telling her she's an entitled cunt, there's a good chance she'll see it when it hits the press.

tinytemper66 · 03/07/2017 20:00

I have had to download the app to follow this thread Smile

Changedtocovermyass · 03/07/2017 20:00

CORDIALLY? No need really, I don't think this can be resolved. This woman isn't behaving in a way where that's going to happen. She wants it all on a velvet pillow with a silver lining and yesterday. There's no cordial with a sweary demanding person. They just cannot comprehend they're in the wrong.

squeaver · 03/07/2017 20:00

Can you imagine an almost 14 year old being sent to a childminder??

wildthingsinthenight · 03/07/2017 20:01

Shamelessly placemarking!
Well done OP.
Legendary thread status I think?

janthea · 03/07/2017 20:01

Thanks, Tinseleverywhere.

Giddyaunt18 · 03/07/2017 20:01

Does MN share these threads with the DM then or do they screen grab?

CaveMum · 03/07/2017 20:02

I thought your post was aimed at me for a moment there @MrsChopper Grin

Refilona · 03/07/2017 20:02

Well these have been the most entertaining 3 hours of my life after the ending of Ben-Hur (no joke, I love Ben-Hur)

Tamatoa · 03/07/2017 20:02

Hahaaa squeaver, and being sent home with finger paintings etc 😂

ememem84 · 03/07/2017 20:03

Op will you look after my as yet unborn child. I WORK. So therefore can't. You'll need to be available at a drop of a hat from 1.30am through until 6.27am. Every day. I'll pay you in unicorn horns. Or fluff.

You obviously don't understand because you don't WORKS

Duh.
