It won't be fun though.

Currently at 11st 9lb and going on holiday on 25 July. I'd like to be at least a stone lighter.

It's achievable isn't it?

Yes, if you cut your head off.

I lost 10 pounds (maybe a bit more) in 2 weeks doing the cereal thing - bran flakes for breakfast, healthy lunch, bran flakes for dinner. Wasn't great but not awful either.

I would have thought unlikely for average woman. It's only 25 days so little over 3 weeks. 2lbs pw would be healthy av weight loss so maybe half a stone is more realistic?

I don't think you're heavy enough to lose it that quickly. You'll have to do some sort of mental diet to achieve it I think. Like ridiculously low calories.

Forgot to say, I was getting on for 12 stone, went down to 11 stone. I am 5' 10, so wasn't overweight, just wanted to be lighter for a holiday.

I'm not interested in healthy, as it's only for 24 days.

Raw carrots and a few dry crackers should do it!

I had three weeks and I lost 7 pounds. No booze, minimal sugar, small portions, quite a few nights I had no carbs at dinner. I also worked out a lot.

Definitely possible, I've done it but was in a very active job.

Yep. You can, it just won't be very fun. I lost 3 stone in 2.5 months last year, not enjoyable, but I'd rather have it over and done with quickly than piss about feeling miserable on a diet for ages.

I think you can if you really put your mind to it. I mean extremely low calorie intake. Also up your activity levels too.

Ofcourse you can. Simply eat nothing, take as much speed as you can and run at full tilt for 23 hours a day!! In the real world maybe half a stone if you cut right back on the bad things and are strict with yourself. Tbh I never understand why people want to shed large amounts of weight overnight for a holiday. Nobody cares how much you weigh and you shouldn't care what people you don't know probably don't think about you anyway! Enjoy your holiday.

Try the 16:8 diet? Eat for 8 hours then fast for 16.

You can lose weight but most of it is probably water.

Do you have a treadmill or gym access? Try doing fasted (before any food) cardio or gym session everyday.

Cut out booze and "bad" carbs swap for whole meal ect... no take aways, watch sugar in fruit. Have you tried cutting out dairy?

Protein shake meal replacement you will lose weight that way but remember it won't stay off in you go on holiday and start eating whatever you want the weight will come straight back on and then some.

I'm going abroad soon too. I am 5"8 and weigh 11st 2lb. But my body fat is healthy even though I feel big. I keep falling off the wagon and I know I could lose a stone if I stuck to it but I go to the gym 6 times a week and eat healthy eat more protein than carbs ect.

Good luck you can do it if you stick to it. But you will have to stick to it afterwards to make it count.

You could do the blood sugar diet - 800 calories/day - although I don't know anyone who's lost a stone in 3 weeks. I guess you'd have to go even lower on the calories.

I was you a month ago and decided to do the Jillian Michaels shred instead of losing weight, I just wanted to feel more toned. It was bloody hard work but the results were great. Maybe have a look at that instead? Also, you won't just put it all back on while you're away.

Yes try the lighter life you can get from Superdrug or online. It's promoted in Superdrug as the 5:2 diet but online as an everyday I do it mon-thur and eat normally at weekend and lose 4-5 lb a week. It's boring but do-able. Good luck 🍀🍀

Yes you can. Maybe not a stone but 10lbs which is not to be sniffed at.

Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred + walking every day for at least an hour.
MyFitnessPal tracker with goal calories adjusted for your target weight so you need to plan your meals OR you can follow Jillian's diet - free from her website.

I lost 12 pounds of baby weight in 30 days doing this but I did my own diet with monitoring calories on MFP.

Bonus: you will tone up significantly and lose inches everywhere.

You can get JM DVD ON Amazon for a tenner, her diet plan off the website for free and MFP is free to download.
You'll need a set of 1kg weights which you can again get on amazon for a fiver.

gambino
I saw I cross posted with you Grin Great to see another JM fan.
I had some weights knocking about so I used them but you're right - you can do it with cans or water bottles. I bloody love JM. Just doing Ripped in 30 and loving it. Trying to get from my 11 stone post partum to 9 stone pre pregnancy and I think I may crack it with Jillian. 💪🏼😄

OP
For context. I was 11 stone exactly when I started at 5'5" height.

9 lbs in one week was my record. It was using a free weight loss hypnosis app.

If it's just a quick fix try the military diet or James Duncan. It works but you have to be strict.
I do it before holidays or weddings etc
Juice diet is also good but I found that hard. Don't eat after 5 pm and drink lots of water and herbal tea.
Slimatee is good (holland & Barrett) if you deal with being on the toilet a lot.
None of these drastic diets are sustainable in the long run but for a quick fix there's no harm in them

Of course it's possible, but it's not a great idea. Odds are you will put it on straight back on when you start eating normally again. Plus there are risks associated with such rapid weight loss, like gall stones.

I have, but I've literally eaten nothing for the past 4 weeks, not intentially, I'm going through a period of immense stress.

Yes. 1000 calories and exercise. Don't even have to be unhealthy.
