I know exactly what It is like to have a poorly child same as hundreds more parents in the uk.
Set aside my belief that I believe that bradley has very little dignity and both him and charlie are now used as some weird sort of click bait.

The supporters I do not understand it ?

We love you, we are heart broken and we will miss you.

Now I get empathy but this is not empathy this is media posts just gone crazy to write the most heart breaking post they can.
I wish neither of these children would have to lose their life and can undetstand the parents pain just like the rest of the terminally ill children in this country.

You can feel sad that these things happen but this just seems weird and could not imagine allowing a nation of people watching my child pass away.

I mean how many of them 2 years from now will wake up on the morning of their anniversary and automatically remember them ?

It might be scary but at least not much is happening in RL. Mobs disperse when the novelty wears off.

I wish that I could understand the psychology of the CA behaviour in this, the posting to be seen as more caring than the last person, the threatening rants towards hospital staff.

What they aren't grasping is no matter how many well known or powerful people are 'involved' it won't change the situation. It won't make Charlie better. It won't change the prognosis. It won't mean he isn't suffering. I can't think of anything worse than being trapped in a silver dark world with no idea what is going on and people coming and doing stuff to me. I know that isn't how he processes it but it's such a horrible thought.
Basically CA are rallying against an untreatable disease. They've just stated 'the evidence: Charlie is NOT brain damaged' I need to stop reading now. It's making me unspeakably angry.

If I was another family with a very poorly child in GOSH I think I'd be quite frightened by now of all the attention on the hospital and random threats of protests or people just trying to turn up not one person in that group seems to be thinking of any of the other patients that those same doctors will be treating.

earlier this morning one of them said that Boris Johnson could 'give them American citizenship'. Several agreed that he could and should.

They also want Trump to fly the nice Doctor over with 'the medicyn' to give it to Charlie.

I am alternating between sadness and anger. I can't stop thinking of what an absolutely horrendous existence Charlie has and all the idiotic comments are making me so angry it's untrue.

I should stop reading but I keep going back and each time the comments are worse and more stupid. I have to keep reading them out to my DH as I just can't believe some of them.

It's pretty worrying to think there are that many stupid people in this country.

I know it's a crass comparison but I look at that Connie/Madonna photo and my heart just breaks for the poor woman. This circus is complete madness but every ounce of me that is a mother totally understands why she's so desperate for that moment to just go on forever. It's just so so sad.

I think they are just naming random people they might have heard of now.

Why do they think this is an awareness issue and not an extremely ill baby issue? Do they not think lots of parents have had to make desperately awful decisions like this before? Do they think Charlie is the only baby to have ever been in this situation for whatever reason? Did they campaign all the other times? Did they think GOSH were 'murdering babies' then? No. They did not. Idiots the lot of them.

Jesus. I would feel sorry for the parents, but they are really not helping this situation. It didn't need to be like this.

A couple of people have commented they are Team Trump, not Team Theresa May. I think some people are getting confused with Big Brother and the X Factor FFS.

It pains me to say but my sympathies are fading quickly for charlie's parents.
I feel rather more for the medical team caring for him. It must be enormously difficult for them to remain supportive when they must be aware of the actions and vitriol eminating from CA, knowing that his parents and wider family stand by the group.

I wish there was an eye roll emoticon on here. I'd have worn that button out on my keyboard today. Who are these people and where did they come from??! That tweet to Donald Trump says it all.

CA are really not the brightest buttons in the box. I'm sure it was all started with good intentions, but now it has attracted far too many loons.

They also don't understand why the royals haven't 'stepped in' as they 'rule the country'. Er no. They don't.

I saw posts on the fb page yesterday saying fb had deactivated their account for spamming GOSH and ITV. Well at least that. They just set up a new account to tell everyone.
The child is clearly being forgotten about in all this chaos and the only people acting in his best interests are his medical team. I find that sadder than everything else. What an utterly horrible end to such a sweet little existence. Nobody deserves this. Nobody!
